Feel like the cowboy bebop cassidy skin is really dragged down by the hat. How come ashe can have hatless skins but not cassidy? The hats are around equally as prominent on both of their silhouettes

Man you just triggered a flashback. One Friday night (this is years back, late 90s) left my local rock/metal nightclub and was waiting on a cab. Then some drunk ahole thought it would be funny to rip my Fear Factory (industrial metal band) baseball cap off my head. Of course I wasn’t sober, so I went after the ahole and got it back. They came back-he knocked me out. I had the last laugh though, they got 6 months in jail for assault.
But that cap to me is a prize possession. Anyone who tries to take it off me will be in for a nasty shock lol. My cap is indeed sacred lol.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Cass going hatless interferes with emotes/highlight intros and Ashe going hatless might not. I know for a fact Cass has emotes that directly involve his hat, can’t recall if ashe does.

the problem tho if thats the reason then they cant ever make hat emotes of pog or victory poses because then it brakes that skin
also ashes hat is like 70% of her head shot hit box its going to be a pay to win skin
and looking at it it will only effect a single emote being hat trick the others would just grab at nothing like when other skins are missing things the effect needs
YEah my thoughts exactly. Every piece of cosmetic that they release with skins, will affect the respective hero’s hit box in a major way. Look at Lifeweaver with his initial skin which they had to adjust
i also hate the coat why brown give him his grey coat if you want a coat personally i would rather just a nice suit then we have the hair why is it black and not green and he was facial hair spike doesn’t have facial hair
Personally if I had my way, i’d make the hair jet black pony tail length swept back, narrow beard, arrowed eye brows, black leather coat, leather boots, guns under the jacket, hat would be a 30’s style gangsta hat ( I watch too many 30’s gangster movies lol)
Cowboy has a bunch of hat animations. If they don’t give him a hat, then suddenly all of those animations of him tipping/removing/adjusting/losing his hat don’t look right anymore. You also might have noticed that they don’t mess too much with the general shape of his hat either, especially around the brim.
Every hero has that kind of situation to some extent.
Except they literally have messed with it on multiple hero and in this cross over alone we have ash with no gat so does that mean the team cant make any things that deal with her hat ever because they made a single skin thats dumb its that same bad excuse as silhouette then they release a akin that makes kiriko and sym look insanly similar at a glance yet genji cant have spiked hair its a trash reason

I mean removing the hat isn’t gonna change her hitbox.
Because nobody wants to see his almost guaranteed balding head. 
That seems likely. I don’t think it matters for highlight intros since pharah’s lifeguard skin had a similar issue and they just gave her a generic helmet that she only wore during the relevant intro, but I can’t see that solution working for Cass’ hattrick emote unless they did a custom animation for it

I agree. And on that point, I’d like to advocate for not just Cassidy to have shirtless skins, but Ashe as well.
Hitboxes aren’t model accurate. You’ll just hit the air around her head
