IF is the best cd-ability there is in this game (together with rez, even tho i would say that rez is not as strong), because its like an ultimate. You cant even compare it to a Widow shot. The Widow needs to hit you. Bap just need to throw it in the direction of his team

People be mad because they have an actual defense, and even then, it is on a super long cooldown, and has to be used proactively.
Eh, I believe anti nade is a better cooldown. It wins more teamfights and has less counterplay while being easier to use and WAY more versatile with a MUCH shorter cooldown. How could IF possibly be better? I say this as a generic fps dweeb that is mad Orisa lost her critical hitbox during fortify because that goes against the very nature of an fps and IF is not much better. I even like anti nade. It is definitely the better CD though, no question.
I will just talk about lamp here.
Lamp counters:
Every dmg in this game
Every ultimate in this game (besides Sombras EMP I think)
Every ultimate combo in this game
Every hero in this game (besides Sombra and DF to a certain extend)
That sounds fair, does it?

You can judge how fair it is, by checking out how well the hero does.

Like, I get it is frustrating, but, it is on a super long cooldown, and it doesnât even fully stop people taking damage. They still get super damaged, they just donât die.

The ability is unbalanced. You cant balance a cooldown ability that saves your whole team, but ok. Lets stop it here
It doesnât counter aoe, realistically. Death blossom is probably the worst ultimate in the game and yet it is pretty pog against lamp. Even aoe that it prevents death leaves them vulnerable as it destroys the field such as tire or Dvaâs bomb.
Anti-nade counters Lamp
Team survives, Reaper gets CCâd, Reaper dies. Bap heals his Team up with aoe heals, while their tanks protect them.

I sleep dart the Sigma while he ults. I have saved my whole team.
I shield the Dâva bomb, saving the team.
I shoot the ulting Pharah, team lives.
it happens all the damn time, do we ban those instances?
Hell, some of them donât even need to burn a cooldown.
The nature of saving a team doesnât make an ability OP.
How? The Lamp is still there, the Team still survives. Bap does not need to heal his mates when lamp is up

He can save his team from legit everything in this game, just by pressing e. Thats the problem. The ability is just too strong.
Thats nothing new, there were so much complaints about this ability, but instead of removing it, they try to balance it, which is nearly impossible, because its so impactful

So, we have 2 abilities, one on a VERY short cooldown and Baps has a very long one.
Right, but again, Reinâs shield is on a shorter cooldown.
And again, shooting people is pretty good.
He canât. 70% damage taken is a big deal.

only saves Moira
only counters trance and she needs to aim
Wont work if they put them behind a wall, where no one cane shot them
nade, fade, wraith and barriers cant negate every single ultimate (but emp)
also nade takes actual good placement, and Wraith and Fade only protect yourself
Nade and lamp have the exact same arc and speed with only a meter difference in radius.
