Why are damage boosts a thing in OW2?

When theres literally 1 less tank? Boosted McCrees, Pharahs, then you have Zens melting tanks. This game was really not thought out properly.


Because an idiot runs the balancing. Just one look at every other game, they would see that most games limit damage boosting in pvp settings to 5-10%. 20%+ is saved for PVE.

because the people that work at balancing the game are silvers at best.

Left over from Overwatch 1, they simply had bigger concerns to deal with such as reworking heroes and balancing out tanks for 5v5. Nobody really expected it to be this bad. Overall I do agree that it’s unhealthy for the game and should be addressed sooner then later.
