Why are alt accounts allowed again?

If they charge Killo , most comp games require a second copy.

Physics check this example out:
I personally have 3 acc:
1 to learn,
1 to level up, and
1 to one trick or whatever.

My record is mid PLAT , im average couse i like to flex.

YET I can easily pump a new account to 2500 took me 3 days maining Mercy /Moira its easy when u one trick healers at lowest ranks.

Then I FREE FALL TO 1500 testing Zarya for x games.
Perhaps in most i played without a single kill.
SO I SCREWED everyone on my team.

Sometimes IF I FELT LIKE IT and felt stuborn … i would change to Dva and wipe out 45 bronze players in a round.

WHAT EXACTLY AM I (apart a jerk) a PLAT player a SMURF a BRONZE player?

After a few QP we all think we have mastered a hero and we want to play him on a 2-2-2 composition in real comp.

OBSERVE HOW MANY TIMES BELLOW HAPPENS TO U 2 ON EG
                                   CAPTURE THE POINT

1st round HUGE LOSS 0%-100%
(then as of a miracle all change to main charachters and)
2nd round TOTAL VICTORY 100%-0%
3d round TOTAL VICTORY 100%-0%

I HAD TRUMENDUS DIFFICULT GAMES IN 1600 SR and EASY on 2400. Perhaps these issues are not on Diamond and above

Smurf account, alt account, they’re one and the same so far as I (and many others) are concerned.

If you’re Diamond and main support, then make another account for DPS that ends up Platinum that’s not an alt account, that IS a smurf account, because you’re still a Diamond player playing in Platinum.

That gives you an unfair advantage over actual Platinum players, and per the reporting system anything that affords an unfair advantage is cheating.

As I mentioned above, if you’re a diamond tank and you make a second account for DPS that ends up Platinum, then you’re still taking diamond level experience and game knowledge/sense into Platinum games.

That gives you an unfair advantage over the actual Platinum players in the match, which is cheating per the reporting system.

It’s one thing to have a good game and another to clearly be outplaying your tier.

LAtely the new thing is piloting which is where a higher ranked player actually plays the account and boosts that way. When I see a bronze tracer with normally a sub 2 KDR suddenly one clip people and is on fire the whole entire match yeah… I know what is going on there.

Piloting 100 percent killed the mid brackets of warcraft arenas when it was realized AND admitted that gladiators were boosting people into 2k range (roughly diamond in overwatch terms)

Alternate accounts whether we want to admit it or not is becoming a real major issue. The skill variance in mid silver is getting worse by the day and if you are a newcomer to this game you are going to get absolutely
D
E
S
T
R
O
Y
E
D
quite often nowdays. It’s not going to make it a fun experience for you. Make no miustake about it high silver DOES have a serious smurf and boosting issue right now.

Because that way we can practice new heros and keep the main account clean.

Comp is the only place to practice. Qp is for having fun, not for try Harding.
To practice in custom games you need 11 other people. So comp is way easier than searching for people

You think any diamond player shjould be in silver? Cause I think not frankly. The game sense is miles better than positioning is miles better and lets say you are a diamond mercy. You decided to take pharah for a trial in silver what you think ios going to happen when you notice immediately that key targets are woefully out of position. That is right yoyu are going to murder them.

It needs to stop. If you want to be a diamond learning another role in say say low plat or super high gold 2400+ that is fine. But you have zero business 1000 SR bedlow where you normally play regardless of role.

What is there to stop you from saying scfew it im tired of losing and not swapping tyo your main role in silver or whatever? That is right nothing.

Well Smrufs are allowed and Jeff him self stated that. So deal with it.

Players need main accounts and separate accounts for practicing new heros in comp

Nope. It probably means I’m gold in terms of my DPS play with diamond game sense, which puts me in plat.

I’ve seen people in all skill brackets get there with different means. Through game sense or through mechanical skill, rank is rank.

Look up the term SMURF on Google. It’s not the same as an alt account.

But not as far as the actual definition goes. Majority does not a definition make.

No, they’re not. Smurfs intentionally throw games to stay low. This is against the terms of service.

Alt accounts are not bannable, which is what Jeff was referring to.

Jeff has also stated the difference between alt accounts and smurf accounts.

According to the actual definition and the game developers themselves, smurf accounts and alt accounts are different things.

Also, when people see my hours on tank, do you think they feel comfortable with me playing anything else?

So, what? I must just play the same two heroes forever?

Put a role select in the game and alt accounts will diminish…

Tomato Tomato. Same thing.

More like Tomato Potato

Just Google the term ppl xD

(I’m pretty sure you have the internet if you’re reading this, go look it up xD)

Comp is NOT intended for practice.

Quick Play is the intended practice/training mode for Competitive.

If you are practicing heroes in competitive then that’s tantamount to throwing.

And to hell with the 5 other people on your team that you’re screwing over by practicing in competitive.

Go away, troll.

Well we pay extra $20 or $40 per account so blizzard allow it to have alt accounts. So get used to it mate.

Quick play is a place to have fun. Not practice.
How’s trying a new hero is throwing? You’re try to play that hero better thus trying to win using that hero

Right, so I’ll just keep playing the same hero forever then, shall I?

The alt account gets placed where it belongs, there is no disparity of rank. It gets placed where your skill lies with the heroes you’re playing on that account. That’s all… What’s the problem?

You’re in no position to call me “mate”.

And accounts are free on console so your reasoning falls flat there.

The game is meant to be for fun, because it’s a game.

Quick Play is absolutely the practice arena for Competitive.

It’s where you level up to 25 before being able to play Competitive after all.

Except you’re not proficient with that hero, and Competitive requires everyone on the team playing their best.

You cannot play your best on a hero you’re not proficient with.

Go train in Quick Play first, then once you’re proficient you take that hero into Competitive.

To play competitive with a hero you’re a novice with is selfish, self-centered, and most certainly poor teamwork.

Also, QP is pathetic and in no way reflects comp. I can play Genji there and kill everything and be untouchable.

When I play Genji in comp on the same account I just get crushed straight away.
