You make me envy the blind with how awful your takes are, venture doesn’t want you bro. Anytime some says “venture hate is forced” it’s just an eye roller. This character is flawed in many ways and you people get so butthurt about it. I know my fav character is hated by pretty much 90% of the community and you don’t see me going to every anti (x) post to defend them. It’s honestly concerning with how hurt people get when you criticize venture in ANY way.
Doom, Ball, LW
Kiriko easy. The game needed a cleanse but ut also didnt need immortality tacked onto it. Also personal preference but ugh i cant stand her voicelines
the worst addition is the new team 4 seriously we need the OG tema back
Lifeweaver. Community hates immortalities, so they add the worst one to face to date. Make a Mercy playstyle without an aim requirement but remove the actual damage potential from the kit so it’s incredibly one dimensional, then give him better survivability than Mercy without even learning how to move.
He’s just bad design.
Hands down it had to he venture. her burst dps is absolutely insane, if she gets behind you with her dig and uses her drill ability after its almost if not instant death. And why does she get 50 shield for digging in the ground and drilling the air. thats like rein getting shield or armor if he charges and gets a pin.
overwatch players when one disagreement
buzzword slop
you can say this to anything
to you
i said one statement and u wrote a entire paragraph…idk man…
the hurt: venture hate is forced
It’s mauga, the other ow2 heroes have flaws but at least they have other ways to approach a game other than point at tank hold M1 and M2 not die and also not really accomplish anything either.
I think Lifeweaver is the one who causes me the most frustration. He seems to be killable now, but it used to be that I just couldn’t play into him. He’d run away, run away again, run away a third time, and just stall until I died to spam. It’s also annoying when you finally get the immortal Reinhardt into a bad position, and he gets rescued instantly. Lifeweaver is basically the Orisa of supports, his kit being nothing but sustain and denial. It can be used creatively, but only for style points. There’s never any game-winning incentive to.
I also don’t think the function of his Shift and E fit his aesthetic. An elevator and a claw machine don’t scream “life” and “regrowth” to me as much as a tree with healing pulses does. If I was to design around his motif, I think I’d still give him construction-based abilities, but they’d do “planty” things, like produce DOT pollen, instead of just generic buildables with a plant skin.
And lastly, I think he was a wasted opportunity to introduce hard magic into the game outside of Japan, and yeah, I know some people don’t want that, but I do. The existence of characters like Genji and Reaper (whose abilities I thought were mystical at the time) in a futuristic setting was something I thought was intriguing. It made Overwatch seem like a setting where anything cool was on the table. Rocket-powered medieval knight? Levitating robot monk? Why the heck not? But instead, they came up with the most [insert science here] explanation for his druid powers. "It’s light… but… alive! It’s BioLight™!" And that feels lazy and disappointing to me.
It was Orisa, now I think it’s Mauga. They both encourage awful play styles.
Just say you don’t like high skill tanks and go
