Who do you (want to) main?

I get that, I feel a little stressed if I’m not getting off phat Dblades on Genji a lot. Just don’t worry about it and have fun. :stuck_out_tongue: QP is the best training ground available outside of comp (since it’s less stressful than comp) and DM can help you get used to things that would otherwise make you panic in a real game so you can learn to keep your cool.

Most people who first started playing a hero as hard as DF felt useless with him at first. If he’s someone you enjoy playing then it’s okay to go ahead and play them. That’s what QP is for.

Understandable :white_check_mark: I bought the game for Reinhardt and Tracer initially, but now I rarely play either of them. Funny how things can change.

What rank/platform are you in? If you’re in PC and around Plat or Master (two accounts) I can duo Q and help you out if you want.

DM is pretty good for mechanics and learning how to not panic (or just getting so used to panicking in situations that you don’t do it anymore because it’s been normalized for you :P). If you have money to spare you could also get a second account to practice at a skill rating more appropriate for your DPS skill level.

Same here actually! I suck at tanks but Orisa seems really fun to play.

EvilToaster is a high ranked Orisa main. Give his stream a shot if you want to see how he plays and positions himself: https://www.twitch.tv/eviltoaster There’s also KarQ with his Orisa tips video (which also features EvilToaster): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXsgYr60_RQ KarQ’s videos in general are a blessing so I recommend them to everyone.

OH~ Awesome! Thank you so much for the suggestions!

I personally adore KarQ’s videos. I learned how to be a better Ana through him. I’ll check them both out!

I’d say the best place to practice Doomfist is in deathmatch. That’s where I go to practice him

I’m a main tank main (Rein, Orisa and Winston) and I do enjoy playing them, but when I first started I really enjoyed playing Projectile characters, specifically Mei and Junkrat. But because I’m one of those people who try my absolute hardest in comp and try have a balanced team comp I can’t really play either of them, and because I haven’t played them much I can’t play them at the same level I play tanks.

I’m trying to main Doomfist now that I got his talon skin, but I’m god awful at him right now. I need to figure out how to get a kill without wasting all my abilities and still get out alive.

lol, fuss no, I’m in mid silver because I keep trying to solo queue. And it’s a truly unbearable experience, I don’t know if it’s because I live in Quebec, because I got a chat ban for playing Torb or because I overestimate the behavior my team should have, but every game is just griefers. On either team. Sometimes both. One time even it was all 12 people

I main Mercy, Lucio and Brigitte. It’s what this meta wants me to play; whereas I personally would like to main Ana again. Yet every time I try I’m immediately hard countered and forced off her.

Once in a blue moon (a good blue moon) there’s that game without that many dive heroes to keep me off the board. It’s an absolute blast when it occurs but my counters are too many and too damn popular for it to last.

Soon. I keep telling myself that soon Ana will come to the fore and her chief issues dealt with — soon she’ll at least be as popular and as viable as the other supports on the roster. Soon.

My main:

I really don’t know positioning for DPS. I either play support or main tank so I’m either in the back or front but not in the middle.
