The omnic production was from a massive company with little known about thier real intentions, but it was believed by the public to help everyone, but the mystery is, what went wrong? Was this the real goal? Was it sabotage? This is arguably the biggest mysteries and Dr Liao gave us no insight as to what the answers are.
Even the ’ they breached the lab…’ gave only more questions, because there are so many contexts where the quote could’ve been used. Was that the base of Overwatch being breeched or the ominc production companies?

Didn’t Torbjorn design Bastion and not the Omnics?
Torbjorn gave Bastion new armor from what I’ve heard.
I think Liao created the ai for the omnics and Torbjorn designed the original chassis and weapons/utility.

Mina Liao was an employee for the Omnica corporation, who created the omnics.
Somewhere along the way the omnics gained consciousness, and they didn’t want to be slaves anymore. Cue omnic crisis.

Dr. Liao designed/helped create the Omnics. Omnica has something to do with the manufacturing and I can only assume it definitely has something to do with Mondatta’s death and something with Sombra, Katya and Doomfist
