phara and/or junkrat?
i just came back from a match where i was helpless against a barrage of continuous explosions. dps where partly to blame as well as the tanks because they picked d.va and rein which aren’t great picks against those dps.
but i couldn’t do anything either so it’s not like i did any better XD
anyway what are good counters?
I used to fight against best Pharahs like Fankda etc. on PS4. In older seasons when i used to be t500 and grinded my elo and played competitive regurarly.
By far best team composition back then was Zen/Ana/Rein/Dva/Mccree/Soldier against Pharahs.
But a lot of things changed since that, however this always worked, 2 counters against best Pharahs in region was never enough, you had to build whole team against it, that is my experience.
That’s not just 2 counters, you also have Zen/Ana which are the best supports to deal with her and a D.va which is the best tank to deal with her. Technically that’s 5 soft counters. Right now though D.va, Ana, McCree, and Soldier are all out of the meta besides McCree being okay but much inferior to Hanzo.
Yeah i meant like 2 counters against Pharmercy is often not enough, my bad english sorry.
Zen/Ana are only 2 that can really fight back at range, so those 2
Zen / Mercy for Pharah
Pocket Widow if she’s good enough she can kill her easily.
Against Junkrat, I’d say Lucio / Mercy, speedboost helps to avoid spam and if you pick Mercy you can go Pharah.
rein is arguable against pharah. because he gives hitscans the space to safely try and aim to pharah. tho if against pharah and junkrat then i guess he’ll be pretty useless.
orisa could’ve been better if they’re good at tracking so they can damage pharah too. zarya is good because of the spam xplosives are good source for charge so she can melt junkrat.
