I think I inevertantly did, but your right. Villains like sombra, reaper, doomfist and junkrat logically should be some of the most unlikable characters.
Lucio reminds me of the radio mix segments where DJs would yell over songs every 4 bars. DJ Clue was notorious for this.
Interestingly though. Lucio I find to be one of the most likeable characters. I could see how some may find him a bit obnoxious though.
I might get flak for this but Hammond
- He adds nothing but being a disney cutesy animal mascot.
- He will probably never be involved in any serious story points
- His delayed robotic voicelines and communication is BEYOND annoying. They’re unfunny and obnoxious lines,
- and when you are trying to do chat wheel callouts, everything is delayed by like 3 seconds while he does his squeaking sounds first

I wonder if this puts hammond at a competitive disadvantage at high levels.
Off the top of my head, I have to say Echo and Pharah. Echo moreso.
It’s not that I dislike them as characters, so much as I… can’t really figure out what their characters are supposed to be?
Neither of them have very strong personalities, but they don’t really hit the mark of just being normal, relatable people either, so they’re just kind of… there. What little character they have feels very inconsistent (especially Echo), so I have a hard time getting a grasp on them.

Most of all Moira, without any real competition. An amoral, skilled scientist with a penchant for… “live” experiments is downright scary. Add to that her extremely condescending and haughty attitude towards anyone else, and I find her a thoroughly unlikeable character.
Doomfist, Ashe, Widowmaker and Symmetra are various degrees of abrasive, but not as overwhelmingly as Moira, I think.
And I’d join the D.Va train too (I do find her behavior to be rather annoying), but pretty much all of her visible personality shouts “fabricated” to me, even in-game. A cute, young gamer girl who ticks all the trope boxes, and goes overboard with the cuteness aspect? I don’t know whether it was her or her PR team’s doing, but it seems to me that she’s acting all the time. That her “public media personality” got stuck on for doing it so long. That isn’t helped by the external media showing other sides of her - a pity that none of that has gotten into the game.
Tracer and Dva are closely matched.
D.va is pretending to be cringe while tracer is natural cringe.

I think all the heroes have a pretty good personality and back story. Since I’m a support player, I’m going to be critical of baptiste and say that he should’ve been given more “personality” so to speak. I like how they gave him a scouter making him look like a dragon ball Z villain. But they didn’t make the rest of his style look badass enough.

I Pharah to be a bit too worthy and the typical “badass”. She’s super fun to play but her character has an attitude + her personality seems to fluctuate greatly on whether she’s in game or in a comic.
