Any of the heroes added post-launch.
And among them, I’ll nominate Freja.
Her personality… technically being a bland, demotivated, demoralized opportunist should count. But really, she’s basically dead inside. Every voice line sounds the same, they all end dejected except for a few outliers. Head empty, just spam those sticky arrows into the crowd and get a kill.
In-game, I don’t see the point of her either.
Who asked for a hero with aerial mobility?
Who asked for a hero that can essentially 2-shot many heroes from far away?
Who asked for yet another dejected mercenary?
Also, I don’t see the point of adding Danish representation, we all know they are just a basic side character in Sweden’s glorious saga.

I think I’ll go with Mauga. What bugs me is that he could be a character I really dig. I like the miniguns just for being hitscan; I like the minigun combo gameplay where I first ignite with LMB and then capitalise on that with RMB; I like having mobility; I think the ult is really cool; I like the character himself along with the VA and animations.
But then there’s scenarios like Mauga vs Mauga gameplay (“HA HAAAA! Time to spend the whole game holding down both mouse buttons! This - this is gaming!”) and the way he’s such an immense resource sink, and I can’t bring myself to ever play him. When he’s my co-tank or if I’m playing non-tank, it’s very apparent how he’s a black hole for sustain. Ew.
So I find him the most dissatisfying because I like the idea of the guy but not the execution. I’m not dissatisfied with Freja because I’d never play her anyway, so it’s really no skin off my nose to just ban her and forget she exists otherwise.

Freja is very bland. I guess at least we got something about her with her small cinematic. But almost everything about her is boring. Her design is just “give her a cape” and thats it.
Her weapon is a real world weapon (wish they would stop doing this)

I’d have to go with Freja as well. I don’t think she’s irredeemably bad in terms of gameplay, I do actually like the high mobility and the idea of resetting her powerful weapon being tied to that mobility, but the execution really leaves quite a lot to be desired imo. Outside of gameplay though, I find her story to be the absolute worst out of every character’s on the roster (so far), and her personality is so unbelievably annoying to me. Honestly Ramattra’s interactions with her sum up how I feel about her pretty well:

I couldn’t even choose honestly. Mauga is just obnoxious to have in any game, whether on your own team when you are support, or the enemy team. He is so loud and his damage is so constant and you spend so much time on-fire. Without a support picking Ana (or if she is banned) he can be a nightmare to deal with.
Hazard is also horrible to play into. His block is up way too often (just like DVa matrix) and doing damage while blocking and getting kills is just BS of the highest level. Terrible hero design.
And then Freja. I think others have said enough about her. Giving her burst damage with up to 3 shots of it back-to-back and flying high mobility, with no drop-off, is just insane. And, like Mauga, it just feels like her damage is constant with no break, especially for the tank.
Sojourn, like freja, is obnoxious because she has mobility, burst damage and what feels like constant damage output without break.
What most of the problematic new heroes have in common is too much damage which is available too much of the time and generally way too much in their kits (mobility + burst + high damage availability + 1 more ability).
Ram is ok now that they fixed the armour stacking bug, queen is a fun design (although currently OP and needing a sustain nerf), kiri is a fun design too and fun to play with and against and juno and wuyang (OP) are also fun, good designs.
They need to tone down the damage on new heroes. Stacking these heroes is just not fun to play against with constant and very high damage. It feels suffocating as you can’t move without getting hit by high damage.
Hmm, Hazard perhaps, just dont like his design and color scheme. Was expecting something more close to edgerunner, but hes a lot more brutish. The ingame character and the one in trailer seems to be two different person. Due to his posture, and the giant lump of spikes on his back, he looks like a man-bowser, or a giant turtle with spikes.
Freyja. Insanely uninspired design/appearance and a kit that is annoying in the same way sojourn in annoying. After all the crying you’d think the devs would know to not make another mobile sniper.

Its Freja for me as well. I like everything about Freja, her quirky personality, her silly voice sounds, her overall look, her movement abilities but her crossbow…it just feels too weak to me. I wish she had explosive tips on every bolt similar to her Alt fire (but not as powerful of course).
I used to not like Hazards kit, but after getting his Streetwear skin, Im actually really enjoying his kit. Ive even grown to like his Spike Wall, which totally surprized me. Maybe i just need to play Freja more but right now, her weapon is too lackluster.

I think Freja is boring both to play as and as a character. I don’t think about her much when she’s on my team or the enemy team.
I was excited for the idea of a crossbow hero, but nothing about her weapon feels like a crossbow to me. In other games, it’d hit harder than a bow but take longer to fire. Hers is the opposite on both counts.

The most disappointing hero was Ash because we expected Echo the second most disappointing was Echo because we expected her to be a support.
That was my expectation as well. I was hoping for like a Turok-style weapon, didnt quite get it. I typically play Pharah as my DPS main, so shes like my “gold standard” for what I seek in a Damage hero.
I just hate Sombra. But Freja acting is horrible. She’s just bored every time she talks. Even when she dies. She’s bored. “My…booow…is…reeeeady…”

So many people pick Freja, but me, i pick Illari for being boring, uninspiring, visually unattractive, i didn’t like her kit and her backstory is awful (she singlehandedly wiped out a group of warriors due to an “accident”).

Definitely Freja for me too.
A boring backstory being another ex-Overwatch turned mercenary. (They can do it right, it’s not a bad character background but we already have so many)
Boring gameplay where she just spams bolts into the enemy with an occasional powered up one from the sky box before running away if she gets caught. Sort of like Widowmaker imo. You don’t really interact with her unless chasing her off. She’s a bounty hunter but doesn’t really feel like one to me.
Kind of weird they reworked Pharah to be less oppressive in the air and then they end up making Freja lol.
Me personally, I was more excited to see Max and hear about Emre in her original/cinematic/ reveal than than I was for her lol.

Junkerqueen is basically forum Hog but people pretend she is OG Reinhardt. I love Queen and her personality, I do. I just hate her design of waifu Hog and the perception that she is the finest specimen of tanking when she is more toxic than Hog. You will have kids crying about his gameplay and then praising hers. And those high ranked clowns that cry about anything with a high winrate keep their mouths shut. The weirdos who hate Ana? Silent.
I hate fake people. That is what it boils down to. She attracts the disingenuous.
Hazard.
Abilities do one or two extra things for no reason and no added effort.
No one, I’m not an awful person who hates.

I hate Freya because
a. She is hard to dive
b. She does a LOT of burst spam
c. She can practically one shot players
d. Ult is frustrating
c. Can dodge everything like a flying Tracer
She doesn’t have a weakness.
But the most disappointing one is probably Hazard because I feel like they were close to making a hero I’d like but they failed on the aesthetic side of things.

For me Juno. I enjoy playing support but she still feels too strong so I stopped playing her.
But that’s just me, I am a granps gamer and I prefer an even playing field so take that with a pinch of salt lol

I can´t stand the hero design, I can´t stand the voice, I can´t stand her voice actor, I hate the lore…everything about this hero is pissing me off.
