Whats the satisfaction exactly? I didn’t find it satisfying grinding day in and day out playing meta heavy comps and listening to insanely toxic players every single day. The only reason I was ever motivated to climb was because of the reward. Let me give you an example of what np rewards look like. Have you played destiny 2? The game has comp, noticed how no one ever talks about it even in destiny forums? Thats because there is no reward for playing comp in that game, nothing to flex with, nothing to show for it. The mode is literally dead because there is no reason to ever put yourself through torture for no reason. Now look at trials of Osiris, the mode is just as sweaty as comp but the reason people put themselves through the torture is because of the loot. The reward is there and people want it regardless of how hard it is to get it. That right there is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. Humans will out themselves through torture if it means they will get rewarded for it, unless you are straight up bored, no one is gonna grind something with no reward.
