Junkrat is a mechanical genius. He’s not stupid. Psychotic? Perhaps, but a genius none the less.

I would say comparitive to the current point in time within Lore, probably Bastion. He doesn’t seem to be linked to a database of information aside from the Crisis Directive that points to where he should shoot to kill. Being an omnic though, it’s possible he has the capacity to grow more intelligent.
Of the humans? Likely Junkrat for his insanity, but we have little proof of his thinking process as we have never seen him on his own. Even ROADHOG has a more introverted thinking analysis than Junkrat.
Zarya may be ignorant and a follower of her country, but she is a hero and top-of-the-line soldier to it. She also tracked down the greatest hacker in the world, with help. But she alone seemed to know Sombra’s true name as well. She’s a better manhunter than she looks.
McCree these days also shows to be haphazard and a little careless in his methods. He basically handed over an artifact he has no idea about to Talon just to get them off a train. He was much more careful and vigilante with Blackwatch, but he seems to be a bit more lax and perhaps even depressed these days.
Those are the 4 I’d put this between.

He literally built all his weapons, (grenades’ frag launcher, steel trap, rip tire) with nothing but scrap. not sure how you can say he’s stupid

Crazy doesn’t mean stupid. junkrat is able to build his own weapons without no education or supplies besides scrap, thats not something anyone can do easily

I mean we all assume as such due to its scrap design and his instruction sprays (with poor detail as well), but how do we know he didn’t steal them?
There is more evidence pointing to his theft heists than his planning and intuition after.
I’m not saying its confirmed he didn’t craft it, but not much is shown behind the scenes either.
Never said Junkrat had a high IQ, just that he is at least average. Also, you have to keep in mind these are explosives. You can’t figure that out through trial and error. You have only one chance to get it right.

Thats not what it means. someone who’s clmusy and social awkward isn’t stupid because ofthat. neither is being forgotful or easily distracted. junkrat is smart enough to build all his weapons with out formal education. Someone can be a genuis at science but be incredibly forgotful and that doesn;t make them stupid

He has a workstation in junkertown with his steal trap in it. One of the character deisgners on a stream mentioned junkrat basing his rip tire design on wrecking ball. in heroes of the storm he mentions building his own frag launcher (although thats not a canon game) even ignoring heroes of the storm his sprays seem to say he can build his mine and frag launcher.
also alot of people are forgotting that theres a canon au in overwatch that portrays junkrat as a genuis (junkenstein’s revege) and even though thats not canon micheal chu said alot of the characters in junkenstein have similaritys to their counterparts (although not always one-to-one)
i mean making all your own weapons out of nothing is pretty impressive. and alot of people in junkertown seem to be great at enginnering/building mechs, so i don’t know why your thinking their stupid. yeah their technology is way below standard compared to other places in overwatch but being able to build working machinerry out of low resources is impressive, compared to being able to build high tech devices with high resources and funding.

i think junkrat is quite smart when it comes to enginnering and building things, but he’s pretty bad with memory and focusing on things. put it in dnd terms. he has high iq but very low common sense
He’s foolish, not really low IQ.
Eccentric describes Junkrat the best.
I’d say the lowest IQ would maybe be Bastion. Bastion indicates it’s learning, but I’d probably put on par of a child.

If you scroll up to my post earlier, you’ll see that I’ve proven Junkrat’s unequaled brilliance beyond any reasonable doubt.
The least intelligent must surely be Reinhardt as he 1v6s the most.

i think when it comes to common sense junkrats very dumb, he’s actually iq is pretty high, hes an idiot savant i guess

But wouldn’t it technically be Symmetra? She does fall of the autistic spectrum
(Edit: maybe I’m ignorant, idk but no other hero has a confirmed mental status like Sym does)
thats mainly because he grew up poverty. on oasias he says "jamison fa/wkes minister of engineering has a nice ring to it!’ which implies he has interest in science/enginering. plus in junkenstein’s revenge he’s portrayed as a genuis scientist. and while yes junkenstein isn’t canon micheal chu has said that the junkenstein universe/ and the overwatch universe have some similairtys just not one-to-one so junkrat being smart could be one of them
