Sometimes it feels like people on these forums just complain about X or Y without any logic or reasoning.
“nerf/rework Hero X, I don’t like them they’re not fun to play against/they’re not fun to play”
I really wish Sombra and Symmetra were allowed to be viable for more than 2 seconds, but people always start complaining.
I tried getting into other games, but nothing really has the charm that OW has.
Edit: another thing, people want “high skilled metas” in the game, but we had a literal sniper meta and that was called low/no skill and I’m just. What???

The children of this forum have no idea what they mean when they reference things like “high skill meta”. It just becomes a form of excuse for them that they default to when they have nothing else to say. That’s a problem. That’s ignorant. That’s a stupid and excusive stance to argue. They’re just are incapable of understanding that.
It’s not difficult to understand this. It’s very simple. It’s very basic. However, acknowledging that undermines the legitimacy of their excuses, so you won’t find many willing to acknowledge it.
There is so much that can be said on this topic, but wtf is the point? We are just motivated to excuse our imprefections, and place blame on external factors. That is a very human behavior. Applies to everything in our lives. This game just suffers the same.
This forum isn’t a place to understand our circumstance, it’s a place that is largely used to simply denounce the perspectives of others. We come here high on entitlement and then think people and the system will bow to that entitlement. Sad way of living life.

Gonna be Ana.
Now that basically all the rest of the supports are underpowered, Ana is really the only flexible, still VIABLE pick anymore. And as such, since she’ll be better than the other supports, she’ll be deemed “op” and chucked in the trash can with the rest of them, cementing the Support role itself as being ENTIRELY underpowered.
Of course, that’s only if Blizzard doesn’t do the SMART thing and buff all the other healers back on up to viability again.
…pff, yeah right. Like they’ll ever do the obviously best thing. Of course they’re either going to simply dumpster the support role as a whole or even try to “fix it” by erasing all the heroes and replacing them with new ones with new kits but the same faces, kinda like they’ve done with one of them already prior.
Edit: Don’t be stupid. We all got something to say. Do your best to understand other people’s perspectives, be humble, remind yourself you know one thing and that is that you know nothing, learn, and try to improve this for all of us.

Every single time a hero become meta, regardless of previous status, they become “Ez no skill”
Happened to Symmetra, Orisa, Moira, Ana, Doomfist, Sombra, Reinhardt, D.va, Zarya…
You cannot win
You can go from a 0.9% pickrate in GM one day, a new patch hits that warps the entire meta, you become part of that meta, and explode up to 15% pickrate.
And all that time spent at under 1%? Meaningless, must be OP OP OP

Exactly. Same thing happened to snipers too. They were considered throwpicks for a good majority of the game’s first year but then Mercy rework and Brig happened and then suddenly they’re no ez no skill,you just need to click heads with them etc etc. I know Hanzo’s rework happened,but I legitimately believe it was never “overpowered” or “broken” to begin with. I never had problems playing against the hero.
Tbh I never understood the complaints about Ana. Pre-barrier meta,she had a high pickrate sure,but it’s not like she was a must pick like Mercy or a “meta creator” like Brig. She was more popular than anything.
I’m fine with the healing nerfs to Moira and I would be fine Ana getting her primary healing reduced a bit too so sustained damage wouldn’t be so bad,but yeah,some people are just whiny.

One of the things that made Overwatch worse was the community for sure.
So many whiny and toxic people wanting to play the game without basically getting countered or contested by anything. Sometimes I legit feel like support and tank players just want to hold W+M1,never die and win automatically.
At this point so many people are just fed up with this playerbase lmao I remember when Mercy’s rework was announced,it was legitimately trending on social media and I don’t need to mention the daily thread spam on here that happened.
Another thing is how so many people are simply burned out but are too stubborn to admit it.
Next tank will be Wrecking Ball.
Next support probably Lucio.
Both overtuned currently. After Lucio it’ll likely be Baptiste because he builds ultimate way to fast.
EDIT: Probably Brigitte actually. Hero is still disgustingly overtuned.
What kind of bubble are you living in where you blame the most recent PTR changes on DPS players? People of every role have been miserable playing with/against double shield. Plenty of support players can’t stand having to play Moira every single game and plenty of tank players can’t stand having to play Orisa every single game.
You think you’re separate from that. That’s cute.

Honestly I’d like this change, gives more counter-play to anti aside from zarya bubble.
I think Zen heals too much and he moves too fast.
I mean Bap is kinda busted rn so maybe Bap. Basically makes Soldier even more obsolete
That be actually fine. A 10hp/s leech. Probably kinda weak, but leech doesn’t have to be strong.

Overall if we nerf her dmg, she should still get the same amount of healing ressurce.

I never said Mercy created it. Brig did. She was causing so much healing and armor creep that GravDragon was the only thing that could eat through them.
Mercy just happened to be still a must pick at the same time.
If Echo released as a support, people will cry for Echo being too op and she will get Mercy treatment as well. Can’t wait for all the supports get Mercy treatments.
