Where to report console ximmers?

Got proof of a console ximmer, I’ve reported in game but there’s got to be more I can do. It’s getting crazy

In before ximmers pretending not to be ximmers saying:

  • I never see ximmers.
  • Maybe they’re just really good instead?
  • Git gud.
  • I maybe see one in about 1000 matches.
  • Ximming isn’t cheating because everyone can do it.
  • Why don’t you xim too?

Sadly not much you can do other than report them in game. This issue isn’t just localized to OW2, it has now become mainstream across many competitive games. Companies need to impose much stricter penalties on cheaters and actually take legal action against companies selling and promoting cheating devices.

Ask your teammates to report the ximmer, probably this help making it work than only 1 report

Well you could file a complain against blizzard with the BBB, not that they will do anything about it. You can also go over to reddit and make some noise.

If you own trained pigeons you can send a letter that way. Just make sure they know how to poop on the entrance so they can notice it arrived.

BBB is not a government business oversight enforcement division. the FTC is.

Cheating isn’t something you can even turn them in for anyway. Since its just like complaining to the FTC about a store that allows shoplifting. Thats on the store, not between you and them.

Well let’s hope you get justice, tbh Blizzard should work more on this subject, maybe having “real people” who focus on Reports and look into them + mousetraps… Come on Blizz. You can create skins, have seasons, gain money, but work on your game for god sake

I’m in masters and it’s a slightly common issue, hope we get the option to report them and they’re easy too spot since it’s usually a Bap or soldier 76 with no skins and a fresh account fragging the whole lobby.

So in case anyone chimes in and says who cares if they use a mouse well consoles have a built in simi tracker to help you aim better on console. Thus using a mouse with the auto lock on is pretty much hard to beat I myself do not play on console but I made the statement before saying who cares and I was quickly instructed as to why its a problem

Well there’s nothing you can do except hope that 20 other people or so report them, Blizzard has provided nothing as to whether or not they’ll continue updating their XIM detection similarly to how Ubisoft has with Siege. Ximmers found new configurations to bypass the bans day one of it’s implementation and it needs updating.

You can report and they can get banned for it, but Reports should be the only method to punish them, and they also should be worked more by Blizz, more employees, more advanced technology… etc. USE OUR MONEY THAT WE SPENT ON SKINS!

i don’t know how often you actually encounter xim, but if xim was issue, how did PS beat PC, live on stream, repeatedly?

Idk how, but a XIM is not just a regular mouse, it’s a mouse that makes the Console thinks it’s a controller, which enables having an aim assist while using a mouse, and I think some of the devices already have aim assist feature into it so you can have an aim assist in PC pool

Oh dear, don’t use the aim assist word with hugepick, he believes it doesn’t exist on console despite every single console player telling him to get his eyes checked.

PS has never repeatedly beat PC on stream lol
