People are strange lol
Last night I had a game on circuit royale where two members on my team were just shouting and barking orders at the start and just showing how displeased they were with the team (even though everyone was playing and trying their best). I eventually got mad and ‘barked’ at them and they piped down.
Fast forward a few minutes and the team is finally playing well together and were pushing the cart smoothly… and I got back into chat and was like “hey guys sorry for being mad earlier and losing my temper” and they shot back “wow, wtf… you’re APOLOGIZING? Dude what is your problem, you actually getting mad over this? Jesus there is something wrong with this guy”
And I’m sitting there thinking “Wow I’m really getting the business for apologizing lol” but I guess that’s nothing new these days

it all comes down to the mighty dollar $$$ i dont blame these high profile streamers since everyone has to make a living
if you want too see genuine people then probably watch streamers that have a low view count. say like less than 20 streamers. scroll all the way to the bottom or just flip the viewcount thing
still the only way these streamers are empowered are by the viewers so you cant really blame the twitch person themselves. also its crazy how people throw like 1000 dollar donations to some. a lot of rich people out there or crazy people lol
i actually enjoy finding some players that have “ttv” at the end of their gamertag. right away after the match i go and try and find their channel. mostly too see a replay of myself or if the player mentioned me. i remember like 3 years ago checking out a channel of a player i was in a match. was in a 5 stack premade and i could hear them in discord or something. all blaming me for my mercy play and not healing them and then at the end of match them saying “i was alright” (had healing gold medals and assists mentioned if i remember)
thats the thing . i dont watch any streamers . at all
im talking about people i generally meet online , mostly in the games i play and i play games 2 hrs a day , and thats all i see when i do
kindof what Krotoan said above about a more niche thing becoming the general behavior of an entire generation , this isnt just a streaming thing anymore

Still around. Still the same butthat moderator y’all secretly like because of the sense of humor and honesty. Real person here. With thoughts and opinions that often don’t reflect the people and studios i’m employed by. I get angry and tilted like everyone else too. Oh and i swear so f much.
I just tend to be quiet and mute everyone when i solo queue cuz i already deal with toxicity nearly all day.
I mean, go look at steam reviews and you’ll see the top reviews are always the same crap “push like to pet this cat!”, “my friend said if I get 300 likes on this review he will buy my a 30 rack of beer and give me 1k dollars”
, “some sob story about father and son connecting over game”, these people are so stupid they continuously up vote the same reviews over a over again. Same thing on YouTube, the same joke up voted over and over again. Humanity is devolving.
Eh, I find it useful in it’s own way.
People like that are great Foils.

It worked for Jeff Kaplan to get hired. 
I’ll have you know I have no problems by making them someone else’s. 
I just don’t like it. And that’s ok. The game isn’t pretty enough for me to just enjoy what’s left and my faves are the least popular (Sombra, Moira, Symm, Brig) so the content for them is not enough to keep me engaged.
To my plans but that’s another issue.
