Where are the personalities in the OWL?

I mean, gamers in general are introverts, as someone said. But regardless, I think OWL has its share of extroverted personalities. Surefour is amazing, Mickie is a sweetheart, Muma’s a fun guy, etc.

And while, as an American, I thought a lot of the Korean players seemed boring, I think that’s just a difference in culture. Sure, lots of them are shy, but the more I see of them, the more their personalities come out. Profit is really mischievous, for example. And Ark is the sweetest person ever - I just want to hug that guy sometimes. XD

Rogers has huge personality, and again “saying something acceptable” is not an issue. If you actually go look at the guy in anything, he has a great personality. You can call him humble, you can call him amazing. But he is ten times more recognizable than anyone in the OWL in the states.

Randy Moss not good enough to back up attitude??? HALL OF FAME WIDE RECEIVER? SIX TIME PRO BOWLER??? One of the only people to be top five all time in almost every receiving catagory. NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BACK UP THE ATTITUDE? alright man, you’re too much of an OWL fan to be taken seriously.

Lol worst person you could have picked.

More teamplay than individual personality, but you should know who Surefour is from this.

Watch Tom Brady on the side line, one of the biggest you will ever see.

i’ve always disliked this demand of sports fans for athletes to be larger than life characters on top of their exceptional skills

it’s cool if some are but unless you’re part of the league’s marketing department, why would you care how interesting they are as people

Meh. He got to play in two of the weaker divisions in the league with Minnesota and New England. NFC North is good now, but they weren’t back then. And most teams would go to playoffs every year if they replaced the Patriots in the AFC East. He was ok.

And you might be too little of an OWL fan to be taken seriously. Most of your replies indicate that you’ve watched, at best, a handful of games. There are lots of noticeable personalities in the league if you actually watch the games.

but wot about super??

Weaker divisions? He’s faced off with some of the best corners in the NFL, the packers were no joke when Moss was there, as well as the bears. The fact you say he’s just ‘ok’ tells me you have no idea what you’re talking about.

You may not even know what a football looks like.

He’s also great. You can tell that he gets really into games and he talks a lot of trash on comms.

Don’t even reply to me, I just, the fact you just said the VIkings of all teams were in an easy division is just indication enough that you don’t even know who Randy Moss is.

Just stick to your bowl hair cuts and t bags it’s not worth the ignorance.

Got me. And sure, I’m still mad at the Vikings for that BS touchdown that got them into the NFC championship two years ago and knocked my Saints out, but I maintain that the Vikings weren’t any good when Moss was there either.

It’s almost like someone can be good on a bad team.

Oh, I know. See Archie Manning. I think you’re taking this too personally, though. I’m just telling you to watch more OWL before declaring that there are no personalities. This thread is full of people who DO watch it and are telling you otherwise. We can keep football fighting if you want, though. That’s the only thing I watch more than OWL.

There’s about… Three people maybe one or two more more less

PewDiePie is/was a gamer.

Brock Lesnar is god awful, so hopefully Blizzard doesn’t take a page out of WWE’s book. They’re the last people you want to take advice from right now when it comes to choosing and promoting talent.

I hate everyone besides NYXL

There are plenty of players with personality, but in the past season they’ve just been better off not talking because the instant any player or coach misplay or have a bad day or the team doesn’t 4-0 every game for the next month, the community will go absolutely primate-feces and call for their head. Now they save it for third party streams like Avast’s or their personal twitters.

A lot of these guys can’t even stare the interviewer in the eye. All big leagues have larger than life players, there just are none. There was Seagull, but now he gone.

kinda funny you bring up ‘can’t even look the interviewer in the eye’ but use Seagull as a good example when this happened.

When you put these kids in the spotlight with little to no training on how to act in the spotlight, the internet gets them in trouble over nothing

this is why the League pushes JAKE and Rawkus so often, they’re by far the best behaved and well spoken on camera.
