I agree with this except that it shouldn’t be instant. I rather give her two non-instant rez during valk.

I am one of the peopel who loathe valk…so if it got remvoed i wouldnt care either way ^_~
and you are right other healers cant rez the dead…
just like every healer cant block all healing, increase entire teams damage to a target, heal while attacking, stun enemy, etc.
you see what I am getting at? Every healer brings soemthign else to the fight… rez may be at the top, but doesnt mean it doesnt belong (as have stated many tiems before it was no issue in mercy 1.0 before she got invulnerability buff…)

tying rez to valk is dumb and you’d be better just adding rez to a long @$$ cd…
what other hero has any skill tired to ONLY ultimate? (excluding d.va since hers explodes and summons meka)

mercy has damage boost as well, res was her ultimate before and this would make it part of her ultimate again. Use valk to res someone and keep your team up, or don’t, figure out a real strategy

Then you know there’s like a million ways to support the team other than dmg mitigation and making space like the current tank line up does.
Not really, aside from point capture and positioning, pretty much all the capabilities in this game boil down to getting kills, or preventing kills.
The only other non-heal/non-tank supports would be those that layup easier kills or easier escapes for teammates.
yeah…a MASS REZ was an ultimate.
1 rez every 90-120 seconds isnt an ultimate.
and yeah she can boost dmg…but unlike zen…she cant heal at the same time.
she cant CC…thats ana and brig.
cant speed team up or consistently aoe heal…thats lucio.
my point stands that every healer brigns soemthing to the game.
just casue you may disliek one doesnt mean it should get shafted.
Hammond would counter mass rez Mercy.

Mercy has literally never been a troll pick.
To OP, the reason her pick rate is so high is that consistent, high output, safe healing is always going to be better than healing like Ana or Zen can ever do. Rez is always going to be insane as well, pretty much no matter what they do. It erases progress at almost no cost.

well when people realize that dmg boost is broken and goes as far as enabling widow to oneshot body on discorded squishies (idk hanzo’s bodyshot dmg) and enables gravdragon to burn through trance, people generally pick her
Valkyrie can’t be used FOR Resurrect. Devs clearly stated they didn’t want Mercy players ulting for Resurrect.
Then she may never be balanced
No she can be balanced by switching Valkyrie and Resurrect. That’s if we ever want to see Mercy balanced Resurrect needs to be her ultimate.
Exactly, back when mass rez was a thing 95% of the time id use it to bring back 1, maybe 2 allies at max to keep the tempo of a fight going or to prevent the enemy team from pushing on that pick they got
