it also goes thru player models and rare occasions shields. i have seen this in arcade elim.

It used to be much much worse, at least now you will only get pulled through walls if you are having latency issues.
this isnt latency at all. this is a replay and as you see its from both players views.
Well, it could still be latency causing it to happen
its literally on both sides and this is a replay. and this has happened many times before
1st of all it used to be worse and 2nd roadhog has clear line of sight to your upper body. do you want roadhog to not be able to hook at all?
sure there are still bugs with his hook, in fact i made a post telling my ways to fix this. most of it is los if roadhog sees your upper half hook is most likely gonna connect if momentum wasnt taken into account witch is also another cause of bugs. its when roadhog sees you and hooks you that momentum carries you and it looks like he hooks you through stuff but in reality he had los all along
even if he had los, it shoudl break if the hook is
literally inside models???
thats not necessarily hooks fault the model isnt the chain or even the hook its a sphere lauched out with the model even if the actual model goes in a wall the real invis sphere has los and is presumably not in a wall witch blizzard has done a good job with
