She is stupidly op and way to easy. The fact that players are being boosted by playing her is proof. One of the highest skill characters is the game becomes useless as soon as a there is a Brigitte. soldier counters Phara but it doesn’t make her unplayable if you’re smart

I’ll agree that she needs tuning. There’s no way a support should be able to “eat” an entire Roadhog ult with her shield taking 0 damage, and then combo half his health away with such an easy to use damage combo. That’s insane. However, I don’t want her to get completely nerfed to where she’s useless… her addition is a good counter to Genji and Tracer. She just can’t be a tank buster.

Very well put. We needed an answer to Tracer/Genji and now we have it but her destroying tanks is a problem. One way I can see this happening is different damage cc effects on tanks vs. damage/support heroes

I wouldn’t provide it as an example if I hadn’t seen or done it myself. Granted, the Roadhog in question might have been … in the wrong, to waste his entire ult into her shield and by getting so close to her… but a support cannot he that strong against tanks. I don’t want to see her nerfed into uselessness, but there are former silvers reaching Diamond+ by one tricking her. No.

I’m not sure how you did that, because every time I’ve tried to shield a Whole Hog with Brigitte, her shield lasts just a couple of seconds.

Brig forces teams to work together and strategize, while being a hero anyone can play. I gained 800sr one tricking her over the last 3 day, but overbuff has me in the top 97%. So maybe the people “boosting” themselves with her are actually just good at playing her. I could see a longer timer on her stun happening, but other then that she seems pretty balanced.

The problem with that is… once she is tuned up and isn’t as OP as she is now, what are you going to do then? You’ll be facing opponents that are very skilled on other heroes that require more mechanical skill/situational awareness. One tricking any hero to climb is risky since once that hero is nerfed, you’re going to fall hard if you don’t have a backup plan.
Correct me if I’m wrong (haven’t used Overbuff in months) but doesn’t “top 97%l mean you’re better than 3% of people who play her??..

The average person playing her is very good at playing her then. Cause she has a 56-57% wr in a 12 player game. If you’re 50 percentile you’re climbing 350 SR per 100 games (57 wins - 43 losses = 14 net wins at 25SR per win). If you’re better than 50 percentile at her… well you’re climbing a lot faster than that. That’s kinda the problem lol

Also, you’re not “boosted” if you happen to play a Hero at a certain level. A gold Ana, may very well be a Diamond Mercy. Different SR’s for different heroes and our skill with each of them.
Boosted is a term that applies to people who did not earn their rank, usually through means of paid services where others elevated them falsely.

She doesn’t need to be nerfed. She’s easy to kill. Just don’t run up into her face
maybe point blank but even that is insane for a supposed support ability, 5-10m + makes it impossible without being stunned midway through since she can literately just walk up to you. try 1v1ing hogs as brigitte or vise versa, its a genuine nightmare
I have. Like I said, her shield doesn’t last more than two seconds.
And she’s not just a support. She’s a tank hybrid.

No she can’t. She deals 190 burst damage, plus about 70 dps. That’s less DPS than Rein, Hog, 100% Zarya, Orisa and Zenyatta.
It also means it takes her 3-4 seconds to kill any of the above tanks.
