When are you going to hit genji's mobility?

I think it was always going to be

100%, 90% of genji threads turn into hes op or hes insanly weak, he has to much survivability to hes predictable. Like its insane

And the thing is, depending on the rank, they are all correct

The game in low ranks is a different game than in high ranks.

Ya but sadly i think its because hes popular like other heros have more survivability ā€œreaperā€ more mobility ā€œechoā€ more damage ā€œtorbā€ but because hes popular and people see him alot and have negativity biased he gets alot of hate same for mercy

I’d agree with that.

A lot of the problem is people see him a lot, and that drives any frustration they have with him though the roof.

Ya and inturn he gets nerfed and changed because of it i remeber when the nerfed his deflect size and it literally made the ability usless against high rpm hiscan and projectiles 60 meters or faster

I play at 2.3k edpi and got no problem hitting gengu

it’s insane how you can post this and be this obtuse. It’s a design issue. Genji sucks at higher levels of play and can be oppressive at lower levels of play, same issue a lot of heroes have. Maybe in a few years Blizzard devs will figure out that you can balance for high and low elos by pulling different levers.

I disagree. I don’t think he’s oppressive in low ranks just popular.

Genj is basically unkillable for most low rank players assuming they’re around the same skill.

so is bastion reaper pharah echo Reinhart and any one on the roster they die to what makes Genji so different. bingo he’s popular so people think about him more

go watch some bronze gameplay, team fight last literally minutes on end

I mean of those heroes you listed Pharah still has the same issue where she’s a terror in low elo but bad in high elo. The others don’t really suffer from the same issue of offering really hard skill checks at low elo. Except maybe bastion but i consider using cover a much lower skill check than having the aim needed to hit genji/pharah

Just play Genji yourself. He is super easy to pick up and do extremely well with. Played him like 20 minutes maybe in OW2 and dominated

again that’s all heroes in low ranks litteraly if you spend some time to learn the basics of a hero you can do well in bronze and be unkillable. genjis just pointed out becuase hes popular.

ya no most genji’s i see suck like hard they switch very very fast

OP is talking about low DPI = unable to play…
Meanwhile me with 1600 DPI and 2 in game sens :joy:

I love that people are insulting you rather than giving you advice. I don’t have much to add myself, but I have problems with overstimulation so it’s hard to pay attention which makes me an easy target for Genji. Typically they flank the backlines so I keep an ear out in case I hear him pausing to take a break then slowly move my camera while he’s zipping around allows me to swat him as Rein, works for Lucio too.

Which heroes you use OP?

Jfc. Posts like this are why the game truly is dead. Genji isn’t hard to kill. I am literally gold and bad at the game, if I go Moira in gold elo, he becomes a nonissue. Oh, wait they killed the game with goofy RQ bs since you can’t swap between roles anymore unless you play OQ which is a dead mode now thanks to tank health nerfs.

Anyways, no, Genji needs buffs sorry to burst your bubble but it’s a PVP game. If you don’t like dying to him or anyone that really is just too bad.

If there’s one thing I’d change is that enemies can’t be so close to each other that they are hard to track. The benfit of Genji is dashing right into the enemy hitbox and then fan to do maximum damage. The game should just boop you away if you try to fit inside an enemy hitbox.

it does and most good genjis will short dash fan melee its harder but more reliable then the 180.

plus it already does i lover surfing dva’s

I guess the wording was off. It shouldn’t allow you to dash into the enemy hitbox at all. You will just bounce off of their character model.
