I usually only see Hog in several situations.
1 - Supports are not healing them or have poor healing priority focus. Either way its poor handling from the support pilots. So for self healing. Do not blame the enemy Ball.
2 - Enemy tank looking to bully or counter the other tank. Hog is very potent in close range and his shotgun hurts a lot more to a tank then it does on smaller targets. The his heavy sustain and damage reduction allows him to last longer than most other tanks. Do not blame your Ball tank.
3 - Sustainment abuse. Usually Hog player OTPs who just hug their supports and just dance in the middle of the roads while singing a cover of Elton John’s “I’m still standing”. This is moreso a skill check on dos to see if they’ll feed the Hog his ultimate and beat the World record for fastest thrown match OR they actuallt shift target priority and take out the supports who are both healbotting the piggy to immortality status, but no one wants to swap to counter all the sustain. Idk man, but it’s not the Ball player’s fault.
Hog is rather painful on most tanks. I literally have to go “Bully mode” to deal with a decent Hog because Hog counters my two best tanks and is still effective against most tank choices.
Side note. If an enemt Ball is brave enough to slap a Hog facefirst and expose himself often to the Hog, they’re very experienced and will find a way to avoid you or give you a real challenge.
