So which part do you disagree with?

I am not getting into this without you committing at least somewhat to this conversation. Read what I’ve said before, which will be quoted below for you convenience. Reply to and address each point, or don’t. Your choice.
You have addressed some of this in your thread, you have not addressed many points.
Also, for extra points, consider the effect this would have on the market, as tactics to addict people become dominant, and single player short games become financially nonviable within cloud streaming services. Consider whether or not games like ‘Undertale’, or ‘Topdee and Toodee’ and their success would be feasible on Cloud Streaming considering the short 2 hour playtime of each playthrough. Consider whether they’d even be paid for their work.
Would this have a positive effect, or negative affect on the industry? Will this inspire more games like Raid Shadow Legends or Genshin Impact? Where they prioritise micro-transactions and time played over every other possible metric?
whats a winguit… have to google that…
edit: oh a flying glider suit. man im deathly afraid of heights. never gotten over that in my lifetime. a phobia
I promise to respond to each and every point with the proviso that you refrain from character/personal attacks and keep it purely as a rational debate - as long as you agree to that I’m more than happy to discuss the topic!

As long as you also commit to acknowledge that comments about the validity of solutions, is not the same as attacking you, and that in any debate it will involve attacking the other sides arguments.
Absolutely - attack the argument and not the person; I’m glad we can at least agree on that being the basis of a more productive exchange!
Thanks - I’ll respond to these points in a bit as soon as I get on my PC and you’ll see a reply on that thread!

Hey, at least it’s a fairly rational fear to have. I have an unfortunate phobia of mice and rats caused by an incident involving a mouse as a kid ![]()
man its terrible, i remember having to clean the gutters on my house which is like three stories tall. went up on the roof with my brother and i was too afraid to come down… was terrifying.
no way would i do that again and yea i rather pay someone to do that now. i do have a lot of phobias… i can never go under a vehicle to fix it… i use to but i would like make sure there was tons of pylon things. still would be deathly afraid and yea… i rather go to a repair shop
When I was a kid I guess I’ll say I had some issues going on, in part due to my autism and part due to what I believe was fear of my dad at the time. But it wasn’t super uncommon for me to have night terrors.
So with this particular incident I was on vacation with my mom, brother, and my step dad. We were staying at like this town house at the beach, and I was supposed to share a bed with my older brother. Being what I thought was slick at the time, offered to let my brother have the bedroom all to himself.
It was purely so I could stay up downstairs and play on Final Fantasy 10 on our PS2 we brought with us lol. So I slept on the couch. And I woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse on my face. I woke everyone up screaming bloody murder, no one believed me and thought I just had a nightmare.
Next morning, my step dad actually found a (the) mouse. I might have been vindicated, but I would have rathered believed I imagined it lol
Weird comparison.
SC budget is coffee money for Microsoft. Microsoft is famous for creating proprietary solutions with zero transparency
Star Citizen will be a virtual reality sandbox, and with the new Apple VR headset making noise, this will become more apparent over the next few years.
OW3 would be a completely different kind of game.
Its more along the lines of donation rather than investment at those points.
But its basically allowed people to get the kind of game they want made rather than what was previously planned.
Ya most people cant even use vr for long time without issues, its going to have to go through atleast another couple gens before it becomes practical.
Its 1k -2kish, not millions, also its basically a badge you get for donation rather than a cosmetic purchase, but some people will treat that way.
The main stream ones but many are popping now that give you really good fps, though there is a issue of trusting them like say you would trust nvidia or ms with account details.
So like i tried one of it by using a alt steam account and tried apex its actually good.
That said there are going to be huge issues once it becomes the norm, i can see game industry totally change their game models to be independent of consoles and pc, go for a browser model with direct subscription, like why would they pay so much fees to ms or sony when they can do it themselves.
Like think about it you can just open overwatch in a browser and play that;s it, plus some subscription for it to the equivalent of bp.
They just need to rely on infrastructure from amazon etc which is what nvidia is doing too i think.
Though it will be atleast half a decade minimum before the stuff i say happens so people will enjoy the benefits in the meantime, while the gaming industry shifts.
Man im talking ow3 its obviously hypothetical and for fun and curiosity, what;s your deal with me, you seem angry at me or something.
Basically its me thinking what would entice people with overwatch interms of something being ambitious for them to invest /donate for that to be made into overwatch rather than collecting 48k, 48k is just a number.
How big of a house ? Do genji campfire count.
ya wingsuit mb ![]()
Ya i feel like that’s their end game, like practically right now they are not just making star citizen but basically matrix, like everything is almost a functional block.
