I’d love to see a directional cleaving weapon.
Like a Reinhardt hammer or Dragonblade, but you manually control the orientation of the slash.
Horizontal for widest range, downwards for greater power (with precision), upwards for a precise forward lunge, or diagonal for a combination.

A chainsaw, but like, one made out of hard light.
An Ult that uses an orbital cannon (Hammer of Dawn, Euclid’s C-Finder)
Harpoon gun sniper
Tracking missiles
Little hacked onmics that do your dirty work

A true trap hero that mostly uses traps. The Emperor from Final Fantasy dissidia fits the archetype perfectly.
When I play Sym, I love being creative with turret nests and putting them in odd off angle spots that flankers might disengage to after losing a duel, they’re usually too injured to react fast enough. I also love putting nests on the tall buildings that fliers use for off-angle poking in Busan downtown. If they’re caught off-guard my turrets will sap enough of their movement and health for Sym’s right click to finish them off in the air.
For an ability, I still think we need to give Mei’s cryo modified as a support ability where the support uses cryo on their teammates. I would put a restriction such as they need to be at least half hp so it can’t be used to grief too much.

a massive sitar like demyx from kingdom hearts, club people round the head with it. Like a hunting horn from monster hunter

We also need a hero who puts down healthpacks too, so it’s not obvious.
Honestly given the technological advances it’s hard to believe a lot of health issues couldn’t be fixed, more so if your on the same team as a nano machine using doctor, lol.
I mean, Ana doesn’t want her eye to be repaired as a reminder of what happened that day. Perhaps it’s more of a choice now than anything: some people would probably prefer to stay blind or whatnot for reasons.

I think the interaction between Mercy and Ana alludes to eye replacement would not be perfect when she states there are options.
Like Ana would get some sight back but not full 20/20 vision.
Perhaps there are downsides to the eye replacements or perhaps its against her beliefs.
This concept looks utterly terrible.
How do you even play an FPS where you can’t see.
That’s just a flawed idea from the beginning.
Because even if you make it work, that isn’t fun.
Clearly never played Blind Hanzo
changing that right now omg

I think the creator made this support so that blind people would be able to play OW.
I would make some changes personally where she could see in a fashion by seeing the map via a datascape.
Kind of like this where the background is more muted but enemy would be more sharply outlined and so would the high ground and map edges. This would help people who are nearly blind.
I once spoke to a person who was almost totally blind and would use tape to define stairs which helped her move around the campus.
I think OW2 might already have covered on that one.
A character with a hose pipe on their back with a nozzle that allows them to use primary fire in like 5 different ways each with their own effects.
JET - High DPS, long-range, single target
SHOWER - Medium DPS, medium-range, AoE - Dazes the target if affected for more than 3s, inverting their controls
FLAT - Medium DPS, short-range, wide AoE - Prevents any healing on the target if affected for more than 2.5s
SOAKER - High DPS, medium-range, small AoE - Gives targets hypothermia if affected for more than 3s, dealing DoT
MIST - Low DPS, short-range, very wide AoE - Blinds targets if affected for more than 2.5s

Actual pump action shotgun. What i mean is loading the rounds one or two at a time.
I still think it’s bad game design to create a character that is no fun for the majority of people.
Sym 1.0 was accessible by disabled people, but was still fun for many others.
I don’t think a disabled character option is a good approach to a PvP game.
This would be an improvement but I still don’t think it is good. Because blind people already can’t see, blurring things would put them on a worse playing field than everyone who sees the blur because you’re blurring the blurrs.
I honestly am curious about a crossbow weapon.
Flamethrower. Pyro from tf2 would be balanced in ow2 tho?
Drones.
There are tons of weapons that could fit new heroes.
There is not much difference between them and roadhog’s gun. It’s just the animation.
Certainly. But it doesn’t have that huge BOOM or the satisfying KER CHUNK you get when racking a pump action. It’s just a matter of feel and aesthetics.
