Supports are the only roles that have their hands tied.
The irony of this. You’re salty enough to complain about people playing in QP not seeing it as ranked in this very thread.

The point of Quick Play is in its title “Quick Play”. Play the game quickly with no competitive restrictions and rules. The real rules of the game are relaxed and not enforced as you only attack or defend once per match with the exception of KOTH maps. Its not an excuse to be toxic, but players can play however they want even if they are not playing to get you a win. Players in QP do not need to “team” up with you at all. I do this often when playing/practicing new hero’s I normally do not play. I rarely care about players in a QP match win or lose and neither should you. Its also not a reportable offense to play QP and just do your own thing and ignore other players.
If its that big of deal, you can queue for ranked where most players are at least trying to perform the best they can…maybe. lol

QP is where people go to be sweaty, comp is much more chill imo

The point is for you to practice different heroes and strats. To try new things out. To play more casually so you can talk to your friends about other stuff while playing instead of making callouts for the game. For you to let your mind wander or check your phone on occasion while still enjoying the OW gameplay loop.
There is a difference between not playing as optimally as possible, and actually throwing. One is a reportable offense, the other is not a big deal, at least in the casual modes.
so what you are saying is …

its not a mode for players to troll and throw matches and let your team members down… if you are playing push or the hybrid maps… its pretty much the same as comp. still does not give the right for a player to throw the game just because there are no rank points at stake…!!!

QP is Unranked. Win conditions are built into the game and its up to you to acknowledge the win condition, if you so choose. You do not need to play QP and follow the win conditions as its… again… UNRANKED. It doesn’t matter, its a casual mode. You’re saying to remove all win conditions and play a very boring watered down version of OW because you dont want to sweat in comp and rather sweat in QP? Are you a player who flames other in QP? FR. I have seen some players get really raunchy in the casual modes.
Valorant, LoL and many other games do the same thing. Not everyone want to sweat in competitive modes. If you cant respect that then… cope harder i guess?

if we need a winston and im a healer… i cant. if we need a sombra or torb to deal with a doom I cant… if we need a hitscan, you get the point… your comment was a bit pointless!!!

Quickplay is for whatever the player wants. If they want to practice widow the entire game that’s their right. If they want to farm clips on doomfist, they’re welcome to. If they want to practice booping enemies off the map, and get 200 dmg, that’s their prerogative.
The enemy will have inflexible teammates as much as you, if you’re going negative it isn’t the genji main’s fault. If you want people playing their best characters with optimal positioning, queue ranked.
i do… so back to your admitting you throw??? come on all of you that defend the its just QP… you ar intentionally going into a win condition game mode and dont care… but none of you will because you wont own up to your toxic behaviour… i should not be punished for wanting to leave a game because of throwers and toxic selfsh players… its wasting my time as a player in a team game.
