Doomfist is actually as cybernetically enhanced as Genji and Sojourn, he just started with the lost arm and then went full Adeptus Mechanicus when he realized the cybernetics were better.
Cass got his arm doing stupid gun tricks. While he was spinning it, he shot his brachial artery, and had to have it amputated.

War is brutal. So losing atleast part or more body part is common.
That would explains why he had “cactus spine in butt”

The reverse of Genji, IIR would literally be:
- human head + torso --> computer transplant + robot chassis, with biological limb attachments
- mechanical heart
- (And I think mechanical genitals, if we reverse a certain clarification tweet made by Michael Chu back in the day)?

It’s a consequence of the diversity tool they made: extra points in ‘Ability’ if the character has a prosthetic.
It’s such a stupid thing to do: just sample characters’ traits from real distributions.

Oh, right, I see now: we’re referencing that thing from King. What has been this company’s nice policy and gesture for inclusiveness, as presented through organic storytelling means, has, with that one rather ridiculous new analysis tool, them blatantly venturing into pandering territory and making themselves look desperate instead. For now when making new heroes, they have to check up with their in-house algorithm and make sure they tick all the necessary representation check boxes that meets and exceed an arbitrary quota when coming up with new designs. What a way to greatly distort the reality of actual population proportions to appease this rather strange obsession with minority representation.
Who wouldn’t want to be that!
