I would say give DM back it’s old range and move that damned crit box already so that there’s some element of risk to the reward of hitting it. But Blizzard never listens to me. They only listen to the angriest and loudest people, the ones who prefer not to think things through generally. Company policy.

Feeding a lot of ult charge, and being annoying to both HER team and the enemy team.
Dva is good at spamming annoying voice lines. If it is enough to make your opponent angry and play worse then that is her only value right now
In comp she should be banned by the game for being so useless.
They need to just revert most of her nerfs honestly. There’s zero reason to pick her right now because other tanks just do her job far better than her

D.Va seems useful against Baptiste. His hitbox is vulnerable to bullet spread and DM can eat healing grenades at crucial times.
Unfortunately, D.Va has such a huge critical hitbox that Baptiste also works very well against her.

Temporarily making it possible to step into the LOS of a sniper. That’s about it.
Yeah, it’s true that D.Va was the number one hero in dive but there are just way too many things in the game now that prevent dive from existing. Can’t hold a hero back because of the meta they were a part of two years ago either.
Also many players regard dive as the golden age of Overwatch. If you were to host a poll regarding which meta people would most want to see return, I’m confident dive would win by a landslide.

They intentionally either make characters stronger or weaker in order to switch the meta around.
I’m going to play the devils advocate and say Sigma needs the DF ability more than Dva.
I know she’s had it since launch, but Dva also has the ability to completely fly away from a bad fight. Sigma just has to sit there and get shot at after his shield is (easily) broken.
That’s not to say Dva shouldn’t have DF, but MAYYYBEEE they should remove it and buff her flying capabilities so she can be some kind of unique tank instead of a walking target.
Do you know how instantly she’d be shredded with literally no self-peel?

I suggested we greatly increase her flight abilities, maybe even make her actually fly. to compensate for this.
I mean, I’m talking about a rework here, so I might be thinking on a different way to fix her.

Not really. Dva would have much more control over the air in exchange for being relatively easy to shoot.
Pharah plays more like a baloon while Dva would feel like a space ship once she’s in fly mode and normal once shes in ground mode.
She’s weeb arm-candy, that’s about it apparently.
I feel like DVA could use a few small buffs to help her out, but not make her overpowered.
So I’d suggest the following tweaks to the following abilities:
Eject!: when DVA is forced out of her mech (I.E. not using her ult) it releases a small shock wave, dealing a small amount of damage and knocking all enemies away from her - the size of a boop.
This is necessary because let’s be honest, DVA is a HUGE target when in Mech and really can’t do much once she’s out. She’s so easy to hit when coming out of Mech it’s laughable. So this might help her get some distance between her and the enemy so she can escape or it could pick off enemies at lower health.
Fusion Cannons: movement speed penalty reduced from -50% to -30%.
There is no need for such a high penalty for her primary. Orisa’s was lessened, so DVA’s should be, too.
Boosters: now lasts 3 seconds - up from 2.
DVA is supposed to be a highly mobile tank and she should be able to quickly engage and get away. Allowing this to last longer will enable her to do so.
Micro Missiles: cooldown reduced to 7.
Just a slight buff.
Defense Matrix: cooldown increased by 1.5 seconds (3 total seconds) but consuming projectiles will restore her mech’s health/armor.
This will enable DVA to be more tanky…which is the whole point of being a tank, right? She should be able to survive hits and I feel like if she eats projectiles and replenishes her Mech’s armor, she can do her job better.
