Say if she got a burst heal ability that heals targets for 30% of their maximum HP and cleanses them. That would be only a 60 HP burst heal on a squishy which isn’t much, but would be a BIG burst heal on a tank

Yes but you just also gave her a way to even better peel for her dps while still pocketing them the same way. Its not that it wont enable her to compete with Ana and Bap, but it can just as easily be used the same way rez is but in a preventative manner

I think she was fine too, but I personally have found her boring for a while now since her GA just feels so clunky and zzz as opposed to OW1 and launch OW2 movement

as a support main myself, I would never want to lose the ability to rez as Mercy.

I consider it an ability that is iconic to Mercy

I’m not gonna argue, it does feel good to pull off a clutch rez in the middle of a fight. It was a hypothetical if Blizzard ever reworked Mercy, although based on past session changes, I’d rather they just leave her alone now.

She should not be able to rez from ten miles away. If Reaper has to stand still in the most telegraphed pose (headshot me here plz pose), then mercy should also be forced to stand perfectly still.

All the rez hate is actually funny. My main account has over 1000 hours on Mercy and averages 4.23 rez per 10 minutes, that’s a rez every 2-3 minutes on average. Not every ally can be rez’d, and not every rez is successful. Sure I have games where I rez on cooldown, but that’s not the norm. At all.

People who don’t play Mercy trying to “balance” Mercy on these forums is wild. I don’t play her, but my wife does. She hated the old kit had her being forced to get a huge rez or not bother ulting. Mercy’s rez is fine and it’s true. There are times where getting a rez off isn’t feasible.

Mercy is vulnerable while she rezzes. If your team has any form of cc or burst damage and Mercy got a rez off in the middle of a team fight, that’s not a Mercy issue lol
