I don’t have a conclusive answer, but it’s on my todo list of things to fix.
But the short of it is:
- Too much frustration
- Not enough social fulfillment
- A focus on Hedonic happiness
- But it’s lacking in Eudaimonic happiness
And just generally, there’s too much social frustration inducement, LARGELY because of devs insisting on narrow counterplay, for a select handful of heroes. Which creates a ton of squabbling and finger pointing and condemnation of “Why didn’t the internet stranger pick the thing I wanted a them to pick, and now why it’s all their fault we’re losing”.
Basically, “be more like TF2”
