Before I say anything, I just want to say this is NOT a balance post. I just want to know what features you want in the game that is NOT related to hero balances. I want to hear yall ideas. With so many balance threads and rants and what not. We never get to hear new ideas that is something other than about hero balance. Here is what I want:
i just want he ability to mix and match skins and guns so i can find the best combination for roadhog because a lot of his skins are great but then the gun doesnt look good but others the gun looks amazing but i hate looking at the skin ect
Hanzo removed, Brig removed, Sombra buffed, Mei buffed, actual maps that don’t feel the same. Oh the actual fun feeling of playing back in the first couple seasons.
I would add something like @GoatyMcGoat said, being able to “frankenstein” skins, like changing weapons or accesories.
The ability to close whisper chats. So many times I end up sending messages to people I whispered an hour or more prior.
i do like that idea the only issue is there might be clipping issues but if that isnt an issue i would love that
Uprising/Retribution to be permanent.
It will soon be stale. Idk why people want it to be permanent. As someone who played both event for first time found uprising to be boring and couldnt stand it after 2 days. Retribution I grinded cause I found it to be fun and challenging. But after 10 days I wouldnt touch it.
My desire for those modes goes beyond me simply having fun playing them. I got invaluable Widowmaker target practice playing those modes over and over. My aim skyrocketed during those three weeks. I don’t just want those modes. I NEED them!
Ahh thats true. It was good practice for mccree as well. I really think this game is severely lacking in the practice game modes. Like the training grounds is a joke. Blizzard should allow community maps to be made for people to practice in like they do in csgo.
3rd person view in custom games.
How about an in-game browser that lets us access the forums, especially the LFG boards. UI Customization. And a PVE mode to replace Training “vs AI” mode.
Consoles support. 
The ability to transfer cosmetics between consoles and PCs
Actually Paladins is allowing third person view on QP. The cosmetics looks so really good.
The ability to change projectile,beam,grenade (whatever) colors. At least for my personal view. Sometimes the color of like a soldier biotic field blends in with the background. Id like to be able to see it in a different color so it’s easier to notice. Or just more aesthetically pleasing.
Campaign mode! Or failing that, to always have a PVE horde type mode available and not just for events.
I’d like another competitive game mode. I feel like the community as a whole have become so accustomed to the 4 (technically like 3 1/2) game mods at this point that it’s just going through the motions. I don’t feel like there really is anything more than can be done. CtF is nice, but we’ve seen how horribly balanced that is in a game like Overwatch where we have flying police officers and Quick DJ bois.
I also don’t think role queue is needed, not as badly as some of you want it. It would be nice getting 2/2/2 every game, but 3 dps isn’t death sentence, especially if you know the weaknesses and strengths of a comp like that and how to play around it. I also like running triple tank a lot lol. Tbh, a 2/2/2 doesn’t even mean a good comp. D.Va/Hog/Mei/Reaper/Moira/Ana is 2/2/2, but you really wanna play that?
I’d also like more advertisement for small tourneys and open division. These are the next Seagulls, the next Jakes, the next JJonaks playing and a lot of us have no clue
With such a large community why isnt community maps allowed. Like we can play them in custom games or training maps with custom hero bots.
