What does sigma says when he ults..?

He says “Het universum zingt voor mij!,” which translates from Dutch into English as “The universe sings for me!.”

He says that when either YOU or an ENEMY uses the ultimate. If a teammate uses it, he yells “What is the melody!?”

Wow dutch is quite similar to english

I’m dutch and I couldn’t understand the first part ever. Belgian though.

You have no idea, it’s really not, and you’d probably get incredibly annoyed while trying to learn the grammatical/spelling/conjugation rules.

At least that is what I’ve heard regarding/from people who learn Dutch not as their mother tongue but as an adult.

There are happy cooincidences though, and dutch has borrowed quite a few words from English, especially in regards to IT.

Computer, printer, etc.

Belgian Dutch has borrowed from french, german, english etc, while Netherlands’ Dutch seems very peculiar to us Belgian folk sometimes, but is essentially the same language.

Pronunciation is vastly different though, and both have quite a few regional dialects

Yup, it’s the first foreign self-use ultimate voice line since Sombra.

Short Answer:The universe is singing to me!

Long Answer:
“Het universum zingt voor mij!”, which is Dutch for, “The universe is singing to me!”. This quote may also seem familiar for those who have seen the first released Sigma announce trailer about a month ago. He says this while Talon breaks into the facility he has been kept in, and he starts having one of his episodes while laying in a medical stretcher.

I know many people may be thinking “It’s actually ‘for’, not ‘to’”, but if typed in English to Dutch, you get the same exact result.

Hope this helps!

Dutch is extremely close to Afrikaans tho
