it literally skipped years of lore, a lot of pve missions and is an abrupt ending to everything, it pretty much kills the story
not that i expect a glazer to not accept crumbles of lore and way we are so back

It is set shortly after the end of the Ironclad mission and (in a single frame lol) shows an Overwatch mission that happened in parallel to or shortly afterward the Ironclad mission. There was no timeskip shown or implied apart from a couple of days.
yeah the pve mission with genji was so fun, is good that it got relased, and i svery fun how rematta is going to retire and do nothing after teasing for years a second omnic crisis
To be honest, something I want is actually a bit of downtime in the season. I know this is going to sound weird, but I miss there being times towards the end of season where not much was going on. Because that’s when I’d go play my single player games. I love Overwatch but I don’t want to dedicate ALL my time to it. And sometimes it feels like the grind is a bit too much.
You could do this by making it possible to complete past challenges or something too so that if you had a week you couldn’t play then you could catch up the next week or something. I hate the limited time everything where everything is “this week only” or whatnot. I don’t even like that they are putting comp weapon skins in a vault. Counterintuitively, I might actually play more comp if they didn’t do that. Because I’m a completionist. I don’t want the galaxy weapon for a hero if I can’t also get the gold and jade ones for them.
And drives have to go. Just give us more rewards for playing normally and get rid of drives.

Especially with the Shop. First there was the Persona collab then the Music Festival collection then the Streetwear collection. I always feel like Im running out of time or nearly running out of time. Its frustrating to say the least.
As for the BP, thats my “break” when I get to the titles progression. Im currently at level 175 and I dont really want “Sweet Summer Child”. I got the “Headliner” title, which is the perfect reference to EDC, so I am fully set!

the null sector invasion is over, ramatta ended years of pve and cutscenes on a 6 page comic, he is going to retire to his base in antartica, which was going to be a pve mission, the artic skins show in the ow2 trailer, and the new overwatch of course is never going to attack, we are going to be on an eternal hiatus where yeah the war in theory is still going, some battels still happen, off camera of course, but meanwhile we are going to recruit every new character to overwatch and pretend we are moving the plot
This is probably a nuclear hot take, but it seems for the game to get to where we the players think it should be. Maybe and this is only my opinion, the game needs new leadership.
If they are going to continue down this path of group challenge events, then they need to bring back the LFG system for players who struggle finding groups to play with.
How do you know how long the invasion would have been gone?
Allow people to play older battle passes. It’s a graveyard of money sitting on the table there. Imagine a new player coming in and there’s like 17 other battle passes that they could be doing afterwards. That’s like $170 per new player sitting on the table that Blizzard isn’t capitalizing on and that number will always increase with every new player.

considering their plan for pve was launch 3 missions every 18 months and we have been teasing for a pve campaign since 2019 well
they will launch the next pve missions?
and will always be, like in ow1 was the eternal war between ow and talon now is ow vs null sector, an excuse for cheap cinematics being the super mega lore come back arron keller promised, some random battles and thats it, the story mode
so ow1 dying for the promised of a pve campaign with powers, cancel everything after years of no news before launch and still lying about it is not enough reason to hate ow?
