I want a release window bc Im tired of all the Speculations. also i hope we see every new hero look bc I love character design and think its interesting. Id also want to see how the “story mode” will work in better detail, like will it release all at once, or in patches, etc…

My hopes have now risen
New hero looks, new hero introductions (same as 2015 Blizzcon)
And a Toronto open beta client (Nothing OW2 related inside just the same that was on the last Blizzcon with the other new looks)

Honestly not much. I know these types of events are nearly all lies and hype. What ever they tell us now will rarely come true anyways. At least in terms of games.
I wouldn’t mind an announced movie of some kind. Hopefully an Overwatch movie would go better than the Warcraft one.
That… Really sounds like something cool. I mean, Overwatch has a lot of lore, a movie could help reveal more.

Id like to see a series instead of a movie. Warcraft was more like an already told origin story but the lore of OW is going to be jumpstarted with OW2 coming out.

Yeah I think a TV series might be best, as they wouldn’t have to have nearly as good special effects. They could basically make them with the same quality as the animation shorts imo if it was a TV series.
Still if you compare what they could do in a movie vs what they have managed to do in 4 years of shorts and Archive events (which they don’t do anymore)…

my hopes or even expectations are:
•new cinematic (starring sojourn? a cinematic director tweeted a while ago that he had a great VA session with a sojourn pic 
)
• most if not all new hero redisigns
•new mission progression info + some new abilities
•maybe sojourn abilities?
•new maps revealed?
• a beta window and confirmation of a release date (late 2021, early 2022) and if that’s the case then they could reveal the fox girl hero for OW1 to satisfy us till OW2
…i think i’m expecting to much? haha i just want some massive information bomb + new content

All the same stuff people have said. Hero redesigns and new enemy types. Also, although highly unlikely, I would love to see a map editor and a answer if we’re getting a new archives mission or not.
I’ve been losing sleep ever since I heard what Papa Jeff said about Moira’s redesign, so I have hope that he will deliver.
A new CC dps hero like doomfist.
