This is patently (pun intended) untrue.
There is about 15 million patents active world wide. Less than a 3rd of them (between 3-5 million) are actually in use.
So “nobody gets patents like this unless they thinking about using it” is a completely false statement. Or to quote directly from source… “While millions of patents are filed and granted globally, only a small percentage are actively in use, and an even smaller percentage are commercially successful.”
