This is the part that is dubious to me because I feel like they’re automating actions to a degree, which is not determined by a human, and shouldn’t be allowed, unless they’re especially egregious in their conduct, like blatant sexism, racism, stuff like that. Not stuff like “you suck on Mercy, you die first every fight, switch” or whatever.

This is the point I’ve been trying this make? Only I wasn’t labelling people taking offence as a problem, simply saying that choosing not to take offence to being t bagged is the best thing one can do.

How about the ones that don’t teabag, and have chats off (IE: Me) and still get abusive chat warnings? I even went on vacation for two weeks, came home, launched Overwatch to find out I was suspended… For abusive chat issued the second week of my vacation.
Like it or not, if you are engaging in that activity then you might want to stop. The warnings will eventually turn into silences, suspensions and bans.
They can be delayed. Might have happened weeks prior.
If being banned affects your mental health somehow, then you should stop playing multiplayer video games and focus on becoming a more mentally strong individual.

I suspect it does not happen as often as you like to believe.
I’m always suspect about these kinds of things. Not saying they don’t happen, but in I’d guess 98% of the time person did do something, they just don’t want to admit to it.

I found it more funny and ironic more than annoying. I can’t play this game for more than like 30 mins anymore regardless.
Hmmm… strange. I’ve only had one silence and that was in OW1 (and it was deserved btw…not gonna lie) but I am not seeing the same thing you are. I play, play multiple games and nothing, not a single ban/suspension/silence.
