Whaaaaaat? People don’t like Flashpoint?

It reminded me of the old KotH template where it used to be 3 out of 5 matches. I’m not enjoying it in QP for now, but I would need to experience it in comp to understand how it should be played in the environment.

No…
WE already had Archive in OW 1. = I paid for it once, Then twice like millions of others.
Let me take a Symmetra portal and find my old quote from another old official quote.

Yea until you get a teammate who forces zen/low mobility heroes and sombra player just spawn camps them for free whole game and they just cap point.

I have been playing today all day and I only played 1 time in suravasa or whatever is the name yesterday not even today so only for it once

Objective captures are faster sure, but it feels like walking to a point after respawning takes forever. Both maps feel pretty cramped with walls/geometry, and I’m not sure I’ve seen a meaningful long sight line yet on either map despite their large sizes, maybe one of the domes in New Junk City? Faster capture rates compound the frustration of walking a lot to get to points.

Or you can look at it like this-it’s really just a variation on the same fundamentals as Control; that’s enough to predict mixed and negative reactions.

I like it a lot more than Push :grimacing:

Which isn’t hard to do since the bar is in hell

I kinda do too, it’s got 2cp vibes but is a little more to the point and dynamic and forgiving.

Better than push, not 2cp, but I like it.

now tell me what the hell that has to do with my comment of people hating flashpoint

My main complaint right now is that I feel like I don’t know where to go. That should get better with time. It’s just a bit disorienting with such a big map.

I’m really enjoying the map design with the massive amounts of natural cover and various highground everywhere.
Must be rough for anyone who forces heroes with low or no mobility, though. I can see it being much less popular among lower ranks who don’t abuse natural cover/high ground as much, too.

Yeah they’re big maps but they have to be.

I like the idea of it. Although I’m a bit surprised that Blizzard removed 2cp and added… Something very similar. However, I like the design and look of the maps. However, these maps are just too big for me. 90% of playing this mode for me is going from point to point with literally no enemies.

I hate KOTH and Flashpoint is basically “Sup dawg i heard you like koth so we put koth in ur koth so you can koth while you koth” so yeah uhh i’m not very happy about this coming to comp

People complain, but they still play. Or if they don’t play, they’re still going to be on this forum doing anything else but playing another game.

Like, just leave, it’s been a year already.

To be honest, not liking a Blizzard move or a certain mode or map doesn’t immediately make someone stop playing. I don’t like some characters, but that doesn’t mean I have to leave right away. Everyone who plays the game has the right to complain.
That’s what the forum is for - to talk about the game together. And complaining about something is one of those conversations.

And from what I see you also have posts complaining about the game… Soooo… By your logic - why are you still here?

Its 100 times better than push i love this gamemode.

No down time, no bs spawns like push where you have to win 2 or 3 teams fights to push the bot back to the opposite team when it was on your side.

I like it however don’t like 3of5 would rather it be 2of3, if your constantly trading points game feels like it takes to long

My fault, my sister has been playing sims for quite a while n I never knew that : d

I don’t enjoy Junkcity very much. Seems like it’s hitscan-heaven. Too many open sight lines.

Yeah, it’s a massive success. I like it a lot.

they’ve given us so many reasons to hate. its not blind at all.
