So we get only 3 weeks of the beta but OWL gets it for the whole season?

Question about the time slot. Is this an organized event that is starting at 10pst? I.E. the verified streamers will not start streaming until 10? In that case, will I have to click on the stream when it starts in order to participate? I won’t be able to be there for the start of the event, so I want to leave the twitch page open.

If the paat few live streams are any indication, going to make sure to miss that.

Just tell me when they are ready to announce the next beta.

Boom! So I’m getting in Wednesday at the latest guaranteed. So glad I put in for that day off!

I am very confused by the wording. If we watch for four hours does that mean we are guaranteed to get in or do we get put into an RNG pool of HOPING to get in?

To be honest, I hope that they are gonna do one of these recent posts so I can read a summary, I won’t have much time for 1 hour of railguns tomorrow and that’s the first time where “I’m a console player” is a huge excuse for me.

then remember that it is a beta and that its not the final product

AndyB literally just covered that in his blue post.

Well it last a few weeks….and then goes away u til the next beta(s)….and game itself probably won’t launch til like Christmas at the earliest

You 100% get in if you watch for the 4 hours.

i got two questions , If a player doesn’t have ow1, will he have drop tw access to ow2? , and the beta for how long is it? , will it always be infinite and receiving updates when new heroes come and things like that?

Watch four hours, get guaranteed access. (Apparently, Twitch no longer does random RNG drops with the new drop system they introduced last year.)

You have to own Ow1.

I expect the devs to be really stubborn, but how likely is it that multiple balance changes will happen during the beta?

Q. Do I need an Overwatch license to play in the beta?
A. Yes, all players will need to own and install Overwatch prior to participating in the PvP Beta. Those who were invited to the PvP Beta but do not own Overwatch can download and install Overwatch as a free trial during the Beta period.
