So was just in a game where I asked people super politely “Can you guys shoot at pharah with me please?” I got called toxic and the group said they are going to mass report me, and then they tried to tell the other team to do it too. I was like “What the heck?”
Needless to say, I just stopped healing and focused on killing pharah over and over until they switched so we won. What is the weirdest times you have been called toxic when you clearly weren’t being toxic?
playing Symmetra, figuring out i wasn’t contributing because my team wouldn’t play with me, swapping to Zarya, to have someone tell me to swap off of Symmetra right when i hit swap, so i swapped back to Symmetra because don’ttellmehowtoplaywhenyouwon’tplaycorrectlyeither

While ago I was in a game with a very good Mercy player. I politely thanked her for doing a great job healing and she proceeded to just go off on me. I think she thought I was trolling her but I told her multiple times I wasn’t. She was genuinely doing a great job and I tried explaining that to her only to be met with her crazy attitude that I was attempting to troll her and I was being extremely toxic during the match.
i asked people to group up so i could tele us all past the choke point on volskaya before match start. note that all i did was hit the group up voice button and say “i’ll tele us”, and this was apparently toxic behavior according to two teammates and they kinda blew up at me over it saying i was throwing, somehow, before the match even started.
I was playing Baptiste and healing tanks, you know, as you do.
The McCree, who was really good, honestly, kept getting jumped by monkey and accused me of throwing because I wouldn’t basically pocket him. So weird.

Toxic has become kind of a meme between me and my friends. I don’t recall a rando or someone else every calling me or my friends toxic in like a “serious?” I guess way. 
End of match everyone was blaming teammates so I told them to shut up and stop blaming people and I was called the toxic one
It always depends on delivery. Not sure how you worded it so I have to trust your honesty but certain requests made that way could sound passive aggressive.
For playing lucio on a friendly server and killing someone who was just trying to kill me.
Not sure who this was directed at but if it was for me I typed out exactly that, shut up and stop blaming eachother.
My first game after role queue was installed.
I played a defense match on Gibraltar. I was a support, I chose Zen. And let me tell you, to this day, that was still the most intense and pitched battle I’ve ever fought in this game. We ended up winning, and I was mentally exhausted at the end of it. Again, I had never played a game so intense where everyone seemed to be on their A-game, I had to be on my toes at all times, constantly being flanked, counterplaying, shooting, orbing, teammates covering me and saving my noobish butt, me pulling out clutch headshot orbs to save them, the whole nine yards.
So yes when it ended, I commended everyone in the match. The entire enemy team instantly raged at me because they thought I was being facetious. I wasn’t. It really was an awesome, intense game.
I was Widowmaker on defence at Anubis. Straight away I did three headshot kills and kept the opponent at bay behind the first choke point/gates. I kept taking them out one after the other as they trickled, two players left and backfills came. Finally an opponent yelled at me to swap from Widow since it was “unfan and toxic” of me to choose her. 
Joke Time
I got done with a game and we sadly loss. I completely went off on our Reinhardt who kept charging in over and over and plain out feeding, which would then expose us to danger, and eventually ending in our demise.
I spent the next minute in a half blowing up the chat, screaming over the mic and begging the gods that this player never ends up in my games ever again. I called him every name in the book from “Feeder” to “Being a Good Sport”.
The guy ended up crying over voice, which I then proceeded to poke at further in order to really make sure he understood the foundation of my anger.
He then randomly tells me “You are a Toxic Jerk”. I was in shock… TOXIC??? I then said “Dude… I gave you a compliment… I called you a good sport.”
Some people just don’t know when to differentiate between toxic and a compliment. Geez.

Never. I have never been called toxic even when being super toxic. I have been told that the proper way to play the game was to not make fun of teammates… After they blamed me for everything and I started firing back.
It’s quite often that I compliment other players and get toxic answers… Then i have to explain that my compliments arent meant sarcastic or ironic. People nowadays arent used to hear nice things
