If a Hero has a simple base kit without a lot of extra bells and whistles, the team has more room to get wild with additional assets.
Good to know that you went “wild” considering this information. It’s so cRaZy to see Reaper with such wild ideas like “an extended teleport.” Ooooo… ahhhh…
You’ll see Wrecking Ball take a more substantial form in Underwatch that seems unstoppable from an outside perspective. To keep him from becoming rodent king of the universe, his movement speed was downgraded to that of your average boulder. All things in moderation.

As you can probably imagine, it’s terrifyingly easy to create an unbalanced (and unfun) mode when the ultimate goal is having fun in new, ridiculous ways.
Yeah there are only 5 or 6 annoying heroes, and Mauga and Brig are the only ones that really get on my nerve. That’s a definite improvement over previous years
It’s a funny gag when people prepare to shoot him post tp but then the tp just stays there for like 5 seconds then goes away
I hope Freja gets proper fun changes next April Fools, what she got now isn’t really fun or silly sadly

small suggestion. in these types of modes give the heroes that only receive minor changes for the memes their perks.

Thank for this fun game mode! So far my favorite hero in this mode is Pharah as her rocket jumping ability makes her so mush more enjoyable. If anything, I would love to see her April Fools kit as an actual hero that focuses on that rocket jump mechanic as their main gimmick! I know I just a small voice of many, but PLEASE! If anything, it would make my day if you glimpse this comment and do take Pharah’s fools kit to make an actual hero into consideration.

I can’t remember whether crit-capable Moira was in a separated patch to red light/green light orbs but yeah, I’ve wanted that stuff to become part of standard Moira for yonks now.

I think they really overlooked Freja in their testing phase sadly. Being Mizuki chained basically after every dash just ain’t it chief.
I played just enough games to those “play 5 games as eaach role” challenges and I’m way done with this mode. Somehow it’s even worse than regualar matches. Yeah, you might not know how they changed each character, that’s fine, but people seem to not understand basics of the win conditions here.

What would be interesting too is if they add the eyes as a cosmetic, so we can enable and disable them in our characters!
