Neon Junction is definitely one of my favourite maps. ![]()
A bee icon is coming. That was the only part that interested me.

I have to say Neon Junction is a great map. I have been enjoying it.
Map is 10 out of 10.
Same here, looking forward to the bee icon.
I hope they also maybe do a CCD awareness campaign or something.
Need a Skep icon, and Hive icon. (langstroth, wbc, BNH, skep).
I have 160 hives this year in storage, no bees in them, CCD is real.
good map, I love the high ground on last point
Even as a metal player, cart maps have felt suffocating but neon junction and dorado are the two i really enjoy playing
Great map. I like dynamic features like the train, so would love more of those on future maps.
I’m hoping for a nice Southern US map in the future, maybe with a New Orleans-y feel. Will just have to add a Cajun hero, too. K thanks.
I really enjoy this map. I feel it’s a great mix of the chokepoints for the main lane with the multiple useful flanks that make this a fast, fun, dynamic map to play on.

wish theyd focus more on this side of the game
Neon Junction is great. I really hope the night version gets revisited and takes a darker turn, it’s still way too bright and it’s not from an overabundance of neon.
Im hoping with the sunsetting of Stadium, some of the talent from the Map creators from that department will focus on more frequent maps for the main game in the future. ![]()
I Love Neon Junction! Its one of the best maps in the game! Nice work Devs

Q: What is a worldbuilding detail on the map that you feel has been overlooked by the player base?
Ren: In the shopping mall spawn room, there is an electronics store called Spectral Systems. If you look closely, it’s a front for the Yokai’s operations in Tokyo. Kiriko’s bike is stationed outside and there’s a fox-inspired graffiti tag on the wall.
Finally we get to see what Kiri’s bike looks like!

Q: Love the vibe of this map! Was there a specific city or district in Japan that served as the inspiration for the look?
Andrew: Yes! We looked at various districts of Tokyo. Shibuya, Akihabara, and Ginza were some of the biggest sources of inspiration for us.
You forgot to mention Tokyo 2099 as part of that inspiration

rallied to answer some community questions on the Overwatch subreddit.
They can’t even use their own forum to gather questions for a AMA. Sad is what that is.
Well, nice to hear some background info on Malfunction Junction. ![]()
I really wonder why they wouldn’t use these forums for an AMA.
Nope, couldn’t think of a single reason why.
Not one. ![]()
Bring back Stadium… It’s the only fun thing about OW…
its probably one of my least favorite maps in the entire game, its pretty, and its nice lore wise, but gameplay wise i cant stand the map
Well we use to have a upvote/down vote feature on these forums. We also had CS folks who would pop in and chat with you know the players. They have since moved everything to a third party site so they don’t need anyone to monitor these forums and you know actually prove you have the game.
Went over to reddit and scrolled thru the AMA, lots of questions. Very very few answers. Almost like the team wasn’t actually doing a real AMA.
