Virginia feels like faux-southern. Same with all the people in the southern part of my state. The accents, the attitude, the culture, and all that didn’t really reflect the people I know and the history I know of the south.
Maybe it’s different further down towards like Richmond and the northern part of North Carolina, but I never felt like the parts of Virginia I’ve been to were at all southern. Always felt like northerners pretending to be southern.
It isn’t. But Richmond and just slightly north of Richmond is. Virginia is like split. Most of it is “the south” but the highly populated northern part is not.
Virginia is only culturally Southern in the more rural parts these days, this is coming from someone who lives in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area. Would’ve probably made more sense to put her state of origin as North or South Carolina.
Overall I’m just happy to have a hero from the East Coast of the United States.

Uh-oh. AI writing alert!
I know it when I see these kinds of buzzwords. This Weekly Recall doesn’t feel human-like at all whatsoever. Who agrees with me? Because trust me, we would never say the word “tapestry” on our own without someone telling us to, bringing it into conversation, or grabbing an AI to write for us instead.
Please be more careful with what you’re writing OW team. We love Sierra but this kind of blog doesn’t do her justice as it doesn’t feel personal and consistent with previous recalls!
Remove Sierra’s aimbot; she just doesn’t need it. I wouldn’t even touch her because you gave her an aimbot. Figured today I’d just play a match without using it at all, and she definitely doesn’t need it.
