We seriously need some Femboy representation

The game is already cringe enough as it is without representation for every group that exists.

Exactly  :raised_hands:.

I never get the “I want to be/see myself in this game” concept.

Why would I, for example, want to be/see myself in a game? I am just an avarage guy, without anything special, I want to be/see someone with super powers, someone who fights against dragons, demons, gods etc…

I mostly play RP games and I always go for (first) character, that is supposed to be “how I want to be/look like” - does that make sense? xD
(“first” because than ofc I wanna try another runs with evil characters and monster races ofc. that are not falling into that box)

I’m always down for more heroes with bigger personalities.

Also since I’m here more animal heroes

A lot of people feel this way because they’ve been overrepresented in everything. Why would you care if you’re already “in” everything?

Maybe not you. It’s possible. But there are a lot of people out there who have never seen themselves represented in ANYTHING so when someone comes along and they can go “hay! that person is like me!” it’s kinda special and makes them feel like they could be the hero or whatever instead of just a NPC.

There isn’t a lot of games where the protagonist or some important characters is just a normal guy with a boring life, and for a good reason, such games would be very boring.

I am already myself in the real world, everybody is themselves in the real world, why extend it to a game, a fictional world where you have yhe oportunity to be anything other than yourself?

I argue that there are an absolute boatload of games (and other media) where the main character starts that way. So much so I’d call it a trope.
It’s not about the “boring real life part” though.
You really wanna go there with this? It’s gonna get hairy in here and in a femboy thread that’s a sin.
It’s about your demographic as far as race, gender, class, sexuality and social status.

Maybe the start of some games are like this, but not the main part, the interesting part; no one wants to play a game where the main character works 8 hours/day, and must pay the bills at the end of the month…

Absolutely not, if you don’t want to explain, I won’t force your hand; Let’s enjoy the femboy topic :slightly_smiling_face: .

Animal Crossing.
Stardew Valley.

PEOPLE LOVE THESE GAMES… but that’s really a huge side track.

The point I was trying to make was there are games and media you were exposed to that represent a you that could be and there are a lot of people out there who didn’t even get that.

… I ADMIT NOTHING.

HOW THREAD NO BAN??

What would it get deleted for? It’s just a request for a femboy hero lol. It’s been pretty civil in here considering.

It is actually surprising that this topic didn’t get nuked, I once had a similar topic about a furry hero and it got nuked after more than 70 replies .

Well Lifeweaver would be closest but I’m assuming you mean someone like late teens to early twenties.

Yeah I know exactly what kind of nun you’re picturing right now…

And I support it.

I disagree. Kiriko was quite literally inserted into Hanzo and Genji’s story (two already existing Japanese characters) for the sake of adding a third Japanese character that’s a woman, in order to sell skins to a certain crowd. Their latest tweet about Kiriko’s newest skin is proof of that.

She had no place in their story and it’s visible by how many plot holes she puts into it.

I’ve been pretty open and public about how I think abandoning the lore of the game is going to sink the whole game, so I don’t see why I would lie about that, even from an outside perspective.
