why do you think doomfist got nerfed to the ground? because of OWL? he’s pick rate in OWL was 1%, he got nerfed because of people like you and me who asked for it. You have more power than you think

D.Vas winrate was fine but people got tired of seeing her over and over again and concluded that she must be op because of her high pickrate.
But what other options do you have if you play Off-Tank?
Zarya (similar pickrate as Dva) and Hog (trash tier right now).
I get that they can’t pull 5 new Tanks from their sleeves within a month, but this also isn’t exactly a new problem. There was already an imbalance between DPS and Tank/Support numbers from the day Overwatch got released and it has been over 3 years since then.
DPS have a larger hero pool than Tanks and Supports combined, but Blizzard keeps adding DPS and even reworked a Support to another DPS.
I really don’t get what they are trying to do…
Disagree with the OP; Activision Blizzard has repeatedly made knee-jerk changes to the game based on Pro feedback while community favorites languish in the trash. I see the state of the game as a result of shareholders, not players.

I cannot disagree more. Blizz has created a game that ALLOWS for so much negativity and angst, yet does nothing to correct it.
Toxicity/Racism/Xenophobia/Vile chat: the reporting system is completely inadequate and useless, as well as the Avoid system. Human nature is ugly, yet Blizz’s lack of response, considering they’re aware, makes them complicit and responsible.
Smurfs: Nothing is worse than getting stomped in comp and realizing that the Widow/Tracer was a Diamond in multiple other seasons, and now’s he’s in Silver wrecking you. Blizz LOVES to have “events” where the game is 50% off…that’s to promote buying multiple other games so that smurfs can flourish and sell their accounts, only to buy more accounts…it’s a great system from a financial/stock point of view.
Cheating/Leavers/Sabotage: I still find leavers, throwers, etc…again, the reporting system and avoid is a Paper Tiger.
Connectivity/Servers/Bugs: Once in awhile people get dropped. Today I played in qp to warm up and then went to Comp, where I found I coudn’t move my character or shoot…then got dropped for Inactivity…happens all the time and hear ppl in Comp complaining about it.
I still find crazy Roadhog hook problems. Rein’s shatter is still bugged. I find Symms that can laser through the corners of walls…it’s bugged and we all know it.
We didn’t develop this game…we just play it…how we play it is based on what Blizz allows…plain and simple.

I guess it’s true when people say that “Blizzard, your Activision is showing.”
Let me fix the title for you:
We are ACTIVISION IS the problem not Blizzard
- The way they have balanced / reworked heroes have been Toxic to those maining them
- They have half-bootied making competitive actually competitive by hiding stats, not having a fair match making process with RNG players playing RNG roles
- Endorsement system is half-bootied and isn’t fully fleshed out
- Private profiles further caused toxicity, it did not fix anything
- The white knights continually trying to defend Blizzard when they make royally bad mistakes causes toxicity. You can’t debate a white knight just as much as y ou can’t debate someone who fully hates something. They will never come around to admitting anything is different from their POV.
So I say this is wrong OP, the community only reacted to how the developers have acted. Community devolved as developers continued to bum out / depress / agitate the community. Cause and effect.

Despite LoL toxicity that game is way beyond Overwatch level. Daily tweaks, optional choices, complexity, supports that don’t have to be nerf just to be healers “looking at you Hots” and most importantly Tanks and ADC have jungle potential too. Got S rank Jg on Tristana and Poppy and soon to be on Lu Lu.
Overall you have more freedom there than on Overwatch which is why I appeal to Paladins a bit. You have more freedom of choice.
