Last time a story and skin was revealed like this was Bastet and Ana got a mini event for it.

I wonder if Baptiste is planned to have one as well? The skin will clearly be in game but doesn’t match “summer games”

We’re talking about baptiste’s new skin, though. It would not fit summer games, and other heroes don’t get new skin when a new hero is released.

Hence why we’re expecting a new event like Dva/Ana’s.

i still think we’re getting him somewhere in july or june though

we always seem to get new heroes or teasers after 3 or 4 months of a previous hero’s release

Maui did not invent Polynesian people. I’m sure Maui, both the Disney character and the original deity, had a hand in popularizing the archetype, but that’s about it.

The new hero yeah, end of july to first two weeks of june if things go as usual.
Baptiste’s new skin, though (was shown in the short) will most likely be tied to a new event.

That’s why people are saying we’ll get a new event for the skin.

I can’t post image links myself. But the first page and last two pages of the short show the new Baptiste skin.
