Hela is in every match and absolutely dominates. She’s perma-banned in every match of comp from Diamond up because she’s so ridiculous. She’s like if they mixed Widow and Cass into one character. No falloff, big easy to hit shots, an escape move that makes her intangible while she’s in it, a stun, and very high damage. She obliterates people, and she makes certain characters like Iron Man literally impossible to play.
The devs themselves even admitted that she’s a “menace”.
What was her nerf?
-25 health and -5% to her seasonal bonus.
It’s literally the smallest nerf I’ve ever seen in my life.

Luna Snow is in every match because for 12 entire seconds her ult makes her team immortal to anything but instakills, which is basically just Iron Man’s ult.
Mantis’ ult does the same for a shorter amount of time.
Their nerfs? The swap time between damage boost and heal was increased for Luna.
Mantis’ speed was reduced a bit.
Overwatch has some real competition for worst balance team.
They also have some real competition for most toxic and least moderated forum. Almost every reply in the steam discussions is along the lines of “skill issue”, “stop whining so much baby” and “you have weak mental, go play roblox or go back to overwatch”.
I saw a topic that was basically “There’s so much toxicity in this game and it sucks”. You can guess what the replies were. The OP was banned from the forum but nobody in the replies was.
The steam forums of any game are almost always a cesspit of toxic weirdos throwing slurs around.
If anything, reddit is a far nicer place. The only issue is that discussion gets drown out by memes in the front page. Wish there was a ‘‘marvel rivals discussion’’ subreddit.
Played one game of MR (so far, a couple of weeks ago), and it’s basically about efficient kill-combos, which I don’t like in any game – it’s prevalent in MR, there’s some of it in OW, but not as much. I think I understand why I prefer OW – you need someone else to follow up to get the kill in most cases.
TLDR – my appreciation of MR is shallow, but it seems to me there’s too much individual kill combos in MR for my taste.
we do, i yelled at the tv in the bar watching the packers lose to the bears (wtf? we are supposed to own them) we snapped the ball with 20 seconds still on the play clock with around 1 minute left in the game…we didnt call a time out before the 2 minute warning…and we lost the game because of those mistakes…
Delusional. Most people don’t even know what gets changed in any game to begin with. This example is in bad faith because you can take any game and find these exact same comments.
I’ll give 2 good examples. If you go to the WoW forums you’ll see the same constant whining no matter what. Yet, FFXIV the game that supposedly is 100x better still has the exact same complaining no matter what. Gamers are or at least the ones who talk about games, are extremely dumb, and basically hate everything.
Right, which is why in the past I did the same thing when I made post like this with the Valorant forums. It’s not in ‘bad faith’. I’m not making any grand statement or point, just showing that no matter the game, there are the same haters making the same points lol
