Still banned in the most of my matches. But each time she is in my matches (high plat - low diamond) I just gladly take the free elo. Like I don’t see her doing anything valuable. Just a feed machine.
This may be just only my gameplay. How is it going on your side?
Crazy thing, I am looking at the stats now, and it shows Her 35% winrate in GM Asia. Maybe it’s bugged on my side.
Idk how but her winrate is inflated on the stats site. She is very underwhelming, she falls over as soon as anyone looks at her and is countered very easily.
Unfortunately the forum players want her kit completely ruined before they realise this. Also a diamond player btw.
If they nerf her any further, they’re just going to have to buff her again soon to fix it. I’m hoping they just let her be for now. I agree that something seems off about her win rate. She’s strong but so easy to counter if you want to.
She’s pretty strong. She’s my team’s multikill machine. Most of the people that are feeding with her don’t use her mobility very well for some reason. There’s a hell of a lot of players that just walk around as her never realizing that they don’t have to. I don’t see a lot of people using the block either. It reminds me of people running doom badly.
I wish she was as bad as some people say she is. Still has high winrates that are continuing to stabilize now that it’s been a few days. We’ll know for sure in a few days how she’s performing stats-wise.
The entire problem is her overhead. Nerfing everything EXCEPT the overhead only makes her more reliant on spamming the problem to get value while just making her feel worse to play.
Overhead Strike isn’t really the problem. Onslaught is more of an issue. 130 damage doesn’t really do much of anything with 1.5 second execution time.
Keep in mind that Freja (formerly), Sojourn and Cassidy can easily hit those numbers and don’t have win rates at the levels Vendetta does. If you get faster at hitting 130 damage more often, though, then it is becoming an issue.
So, yeah, you can tweak Overhead Slash down to match-up with a higher frequency brought on by Onslaught, but it might just be better to reduce how much Haste Onslaught is granting at higher stacks.
This is the weird thing for me that they didn’t replace her perk that puts it to 8 stacks instead of 5. The snowball effect is more pronounced with it.
I guess if they’re not gonna replace it, lower the % by 1 per stack as the “easy” fix.
She is a glass cannon. If she engages without advantage support from her team she is dead, but if she has proper support from her team, she is a serious threat, if she has an advantage she can steam roll.
In a sense she feels like Sombra to me. You need to commit to get value, but but you can get shutdown quickly. I am Sombra main and now play a ton of Vendetta
