Yeah. Everything is killing Overwatch for last 2 years now. Apex Legends killed it last year no?
Before jumping on and comparing two games, take a close look at both games.
Valorant is closer to tactical shooter like CS, Siege than Overwatch. It won’t be appealing to typical Overwatch players except dps otps (role wise).
But well, I guess I’ll move there as well since I love slow games with microtransactions.
so are we gonna pretend there aren’t 10000+ games in the market, and both can peacefully coexist?

Yeah it is going to kill it hard. A company who’s game is legendary for toxicity made an fps full of abilities that can hit friendly targets.

Apex legends was never killing overwatch, fake news. Battle royals were a fad.
You have to give it props though with all that toxicity. It still holds the title championship in E-sports which is what Blizzard wanted for Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. Unfortunately Heroes of the Storm failed and Overwatch losing while keeping all the toxicity it created overtime to be on par or over LoL. Valorant going to toxic alright like no other fps game in general, but we’ll see how successful it is in E-sports.
