Utterly baffled by the support team

so, my account got a month suspension and guess what they said broke a rule “fat fingered bruh” basically saying i accidentally pressed my ult, another thing they said broke a rule was “second tank cause i wanna play like a idiot”…how the f*ing hell does that break the rules???..at this point im starting to think the reason the support team is so bad is cause they are just some random group of people who dont game or even know basic gaming language…i wanna know you guys thoughts on this

This is outrageous! We need to get this to the CEO’s attention immediately!

Maybe they chose those quotes because of keywords like “fat” and “idiot”, even if they were not supposed to be harmful.

But generally speaking, you don’t get suspended for being peaceful. So, you certainly have said other stuff…

I mean, I got suspended for a month because I was quoting the “How is pranget formed” video. And so was everyone else in the server.

I genuinely think they need to stop looking just at what we said and look at the entire conversation in the lobby as a whole because … dear god… they do not know what context is.

I’ve had that several times, when I submit tickets they have no answers. They simply say it was in the email. Which says nothing other than you are suspended for a month.

the exact message i got

With a name like that you know it’s an AI bot.

Contest that. Contest it and request a human to review it. And keep doing that it until they actually see it.

If those are the things they said got you a ban, that is complete nonsense and they should repeal it.

incompetence isn’t limited to one department it’s a plague that’s deep-seated within the company culture

You’re talking to a bot and fat and idiot are forbidden words.
Unlucky, i’ve used those words in a similar manner but nothing happened to me.

well its not really “talking to” if you dont get the ability to reply, they put that then they close the ticket

I agree that those examples they presented are meaningless. They don’t represent a proof of misconduct.
The customer service is certainly bad.

I just wanted to say that generally speaking people don’t get suspended for being friendly.
Only you and Blizzard know the entire truth.

True I’ve actually complained to the BBB about there practice of doing that.

this is true

ignoring the fact that there has to be more to the story than what OP is telling us, such as a history of being reported, I find it very odd that the best examples to prove why they are upholding the suspension very weak. if it were an actual human reviewing the case, they surely could find much more egregious examples of abusive chat, and if not, then no human would ever decide to uphold a suspension if that’s the best example they can come up with to prove you were “abusive” in chat.

dont try the bbb, ive tried it before with my old account that got perma banned for no reason…even if you get a real person they lie saying there are no bots and stuff and even if you give them proof they lie right to the people who can easily sue them

People do not get multiple accounts banned (perma + month-long) “for no reason”

you sure cause a few months ago i posted on here with the old account with all the stuff about it…and when i say no reason i mean like the reason they give makes no sense

Yes I’m sure. It’s just a statistical impossibility that thousands, if not millions, of people can play the game without ever getting so much as a warning, but you are somehow targeted and are getting multiple accounts banned.

You might not think the things you say or do are banworthy, but obviously many other people, including blizzard, disagrees.
