Something tells me the victims don’t care what the playerbase calls him. I call him Mcree because I don’t like the idea that Blizzard wants us to forget what happened.
Also Cassidy is a bad name.
Says the one who wants people saying Mccree to be banned
how about you cry about it?
McCree? You dont want us saying McCree?
So now In getting banned twice?
How long do I get banned for saying McCree?
Does it stack per McCree, or is it a collective amount of McCree??
This is why I dont check out the forums much any more. Dont y’all get bored of trolling?

In my city (Madrid) there are a few streets that used to have the name of important military charges during the dictatorship.
Even though the names of the streets have been changed (because these people committed horrible crimes) we still use the old names because we are used to them and have been part of the city for decades.
A name is only a name. The meaning is up to us.
McCr–
Oh wait.
McStun
With all due respect, touch grass.
imagine all those American families of the 90s with the surname Cosby who proudly named their children “Bill”. Should they be treated differently today?
Online the McCree “tag” has been established for years as an Ow cowboy. Blizzard made the choice to condemn the namesake of a fictional character, and it will forever be seen as a streisand effect on what you wanted to censor in reality.
But (and it’s fair to remember) Blizzard also made it clear that using “McCree” as a character reference or name is not condemnable. and this is perhaps the problem: you formalized the dismissal of a controversial collaborator by removing the name from a playable character, but I have not seen a correct formalization of the censorship of this name:
THIS is not a clarification, one person who reads this cowboy’s lore very carefully tells you. Blizzard prefers to remain silent rather than clarify the doubts of this operation and its validity. we don’t expect it to change the paper format of things, but digitally it could be much more consistent. it doesn’t take an hour to change the name “mccree” in playoverwatch digital media. it is the minor effort of a great responsibility, that of destroying a Tag now recognized by many people.
You say that while you’re on a video game forum crying about what people call a fictional video game character. But hey don’t worry, I heard clowns make decent money
Jesus Christ, why are you always making these threads? You seemingly get deeply offended that people still say McCree but then make these threads bringing light and attention to the subject every week. Effing let it go. You are a troll and that, friend, is bannable.
What does that have to do with seeing criminal convictions? Dude say “I’d like to see legal repercussions” and you said “But everyone’s saying he’s an abuser, so he must be an abuser!”.
Now it is McSticky, a real OG who ain’t afraid to fan the… Hammer time!
Posting such idiotic threads should be bannable.
McCree
Also, are you gonna be in the 2024 Olympics with the amount of mental gymnastics you just pulled?
This is obvious bait
Good news Buddha!
You’re grounded.
prolly doesnt need to since he seems among many to be living rent free in your head
Yeah, when legitimate articles come out and a studio changes a character’s name over it, usually makes ya believe such things.
We were told repeatedly that Cree’s name change wasn’t about us, or for us, or for our feelings. It wasn’t changed to address or somehow compensate for an employee that took her life, regardless of the real McCree’s involvement. Instead, we were told it was changed so that the devs didn’t have to continue working with a character with a name of a despised former employee.
So why can’t we call him McCree in-game? Are the devs listening to our chats now?
