Unexpected server crash at SEA Servers 8/7/2018

same problem. played two games and each game our team had a DC.

Same problem, US West

We are currently experiencing issues with login. Our twitter post here.

If we can gather the information once the issue is resolved, we appreciate it! For those experiencing issues outside of the SEA/Singapore servers, we have a post on this problem here.

Same, I’m in Orange County and can’t connect, I just keep getting server time out errors, and I’m so close to the Blizz Irvine campus I could be there in fifteen minutes with printouts of these screenshots I’m getting.

there is no singapore servers to connect to. ALL [pse1] servers are dead…

Once the issue with the logins are resolved, please try the WinMTR test as this may give us some details on the overall connection and backbone providers. While the PSE1 servers cannot be connected to, the tests will provide us with some useful information. Thank you!

so here is the WinMTR test, i get connected to ORD1 servers where i get 300ms ping instead of pse1 servers where i usually get 90ms ping (my usual ping).

P.S I have included [space] in the links in below wnmtr test

No Competitive even today. Feelsbadman.

I’ll post my WinMTR as soon as possible (in a couple or hours), I’m from India and play on the SEA servers, so hope my WinMTR helps in some way or another to fix this.

I’m still experiencing high ping from the games i had earlier.

Here’s the results of the WinMTR test I conducted over the course of a standard 2CP match. Today I’ve been getting connected to PSE2(Sydney) servers instead of PSE1(Singapore) servers, which has resulted in ping rates averaging around 130-140 ping, often fluctuating to 200+ and sometimes even 300+ ping.

Yesterday was way worse; with my ping never staying constant and sometimes fluctuating to as high as 600+ ping. Mass disconnects were also occuring; I’ve never seen the general chat lit up so much, just a pity it was largely screaming and groaning over getting disconnected again. Sadly I didn’t check which server I was connected to that day.

Hope this problem gets fixed

I live on the west coast and I’ve been having this issue since July 5th. I get LC-202 and I can’t even login to the main menu of overwatch.
Seeing this issue isn’t just me is becoming a bittersweet relief.
I’ve been on the phone and webchat with Blizzard and my ISP tech support for a better part of the last 2 days. ISP is confident its a server issue but Blizzard is blaming my modem and router (impossible it be my router) being the cause, despite all other games working, internet working just as well as ever and other games working fine on my modem and router since I bought the game in February.

I switched my router and I’m in the process of getting a new modem, solely because Blizzard is confident its my modem, the problem…
Is Blizzard realizing that maybe it could be them at fault? Maybe they should be the one changing or fixing something? This is looking like it happens pretty often these server crash.

WinMTR v0.92

Hi, any updates? This has been more than 24 hours (or more, I am just counting from when I was first affected). You might wish to reconsider your vendor in the SEA region given the umpteen times issues have happened and the service level.

Can confirm.

Despite BlizzardCS saying that the issues have been fixed, the Singapore servers (pse1, Americas) are still not working properly.

We are either getting placed in lax1 (250 ms, west coast NA) or pse2 (250++ ms, such high ping here). Sometimes even being thrown in sae1 (400+ ms).

Not to mention that right now, there is a maintenance period for another hour, which means downtime. Personally, all my plans to play today have been basically fked over.

Yes, it does. My latency on 3 different Internet Provider is above 200ms (while normally 80ms). How can they say the problem has been fixed? I wasted 1 and a half hour playing OW with switching Internet Provider and getting more FRUSTRATED.

Howdy!

I have an updated response to this issue located Here. We are still looking into this issue as fast as possible!

Thank you.

I literally just bought Overwatch, and it won’t even let me log into battlenet. I’m in the western US btw…(Montana…where the internet is as reliable as the weather forecasts.)

This has been fixed now, you should be able to log in and play Overwatch afaik.

Hi, are you with teksavvy in BC? There is another thread with a few of us in there… We thought it was a teksavvy thing but reading this thread now I am not sure.
