The sniping part of his kit is easily the least skillful part. It’s harder to find a good turret spot for crossfire than it is to hit someone with that cannonball of a projectile.
I think Reaper is genuinely the least respected character by both the fans of Overwatch and the devs. Unless its someone who plays the character somewhat frequently, I’ve only seen people talk trash about him gameplay-wise, story-wise, and personality-wise.
It’s also always out of ignorance too. Like they just attach the most basic “edgy” label to him and only view him as the “edgy character.”
